Science is science, but one thing is worth noting: there's more to our lives and perceptions besides cosmology and string-theory; there's the thing called spirituality, it's something that cannot - should not - be measured with telescopes, callipers or codes. It's just a part of us, and thank god for that.

Somewhat disappointed with this episode. The fine tuning argument, really? No one evening questioning it. What about the Sun killing everything in 5 billion years? What about the many mass extinctions life here has had to endure? What about complex life not being present anywhere else in the Solar system? The soul is something we talked about before we understood that the brain is where our thoughts are processed, that we have all these organs that we can gradually understand as we study them. There is no magic. There is no reason to believe that a soul exists.

We will simply keep wondering if there is a God for milleniums. 1.) At about 32:00 they claim, that a "god" is needed to start the big bang. That is pure nonsense and totally made up. No serious physicist would ever say such a ridiculous thing.
2.) They take physicists and scientists, who actually know what they are talking about and then get some religious dude, who makes up shit and talks as if we should take him serisously, just because he fabricates some bullshit story!
