I miss the old match card types. They actually got you hyped for the match. I remember seeing the HHH/Cena card and going like "HOLY SHIT this match's gonna be BIG". Today's wrestlemania cards, you just have the graphics.

And Linda wasn't the reason for the PG rating, it's Mattel. And even if they go back to TV14 they will STILL boo him like they did since late 2005 if he's still booked the same way. A stupid TV rating won't change that.

One of the greatest Wrestlemania's of all time! The line-up was amazing, the theme song fits this event perfectly, and every match was amazing! I saw it on DVD, and I was not dissapointed! No Holds Barred was awesome, the World Title matches were pretty good, MITB really delivered, and the Hardcore was sick! One of the greatest Wrestlemania's of all time! Thumbs up if you agree!

@JLWatkins83 While I'm glad you're not an Attitude-era sheep like others are, 17 is considered the greatest Wrestlemania of all time due to the strict workrate and level of stunts performed on the big show, plus it was arguably the peak of Austin's career as he worked a match with The Rock that exceeded expectations, and then he turned heel, which signified the end of his "rebel" gimmick

'Big Time' by Peter Gabriel, was the best PPV song choice WWE made in quite awhile. A lot of people said it was just cheesy 80s pop, but it really gave WrestleMania a retro, larger-than-life feel; it just made the event seem more special & important than it actually was. Much better than the lame 'Ladies & Gentlemen' rock song they used later on....
