i thought mick deserved 2 win more so than natalie (yes,i was a fan from the start) i think mick really is a cool guy underneath it all and if only he had stepped out of his shell a bit more than people wouldn't be going "mick who?" he was physically a strong competitor who gave 100% in challenges, helped around camp and a lot of the Galu castaways say he's a great guy. i think the editing turned this into "Survivor: Russel edition" and most castaways didn't get the screen time they deserved!

@IceYourPimpHand i didn't say it was Russel's fault, iIt is the fault of the producers and the editors. And i believe the cast of Samoa was actually a pretty decent cast. I for one would have like to have seen more of John and Erik, who,for all their arrogance and cockiness, actually seemed to have intelligent and strategic games of their own. Just because they didn't burn socks or tip out water doesn't mean they didn't have a great game.

Foa Foa lost every single immunity challenge expect one, so all the fights and strategic playing was on Foa Foa, Galu was just sun bathing and relaxing, what else could they do? The episode that they lost a challenge, it showed much more Galu, thats just how they've always done it, and at the merge, we saw plenty of Eric's arrogance and we saw John call everybody stupid while he is the reason Galu went down so fast, and Russell did 100% of Foa's game. And Galu proved to be full of idiots anyway.

I respect your opinion. if you like russell and think he's the best player ever, go ahead, i'm not here to change that. i understand that is how the editing works pre-merge, but post-merge? it's not just Samoa, it's other recent seasons as well i've noticed that the editing focuses too much on a cast member and ignores the rest
