  • Too fast for this beginner even with pause.

  • Thank you SO much! This has helped me finish my very first knitting project.

  • @EnjoiCrayons

so glad to hear my video helped you finish your first project. hope you've continued to watch and are happily knitting a lot now.

  • Greetings, I just finished knitting a scarf for my niece. I used a basket weave pattern. I K5, P5. How do I bind that off so that the pattern is not disturbed? Thanks so much! ♥

  • @Lynnphotos84

scarf sounds nice. I would sugges binging off the knits with the knit bind off and binding off the purls with the purl bind off. But, even if you bind them all off with knit you'll be o-k.

  • @Lynnphotos84

TYPO: I meant binding off not binging

  • Thanks for the video so much!! I've been dying to find a detailed video. I'm knitting a scarf for a guy that I kinda like. Haha. I'm 19 and my friends are making fun of my "grandma-like" hobby! Haha. They sure are missing out something :)

  • @flowerpower9

your friends will not make fun of you when they see all the beautiful things you make. they'll want some too. thanks for writing, please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.

  • :[ what do i do with the tail now

i left it like that and it unraveled TOT

took so long to do it too

  • @henrytakeover

cut the yarn and pull it through the last stitch like I do on the video.

  • I knit all the time just to relax and always ended up ripping it to start off again because I couldn't remember how to cast off! I knew you pulled the stitches over each other but forgot you have to knit them first! Thank you so much now i can relax and have something to show for it :P just finishing off a scarf for my boyfriend in the same colour wool your using! :D

  • congratulations! now you're on your way to knitting forever.

  • I have knitted a long skirt for the first time and I can't get right the last row, line? where I need to bind off to finish it. I don't know if I work too tightly but it gets wavy and I am so frustrated. I will try your binding off purl method see if I can get it right. Thank you for posting this video.

  • maybe you should do a few rows in ribbing and bind off in ribbing so it won't curl. I have a video on that too. Check it out..

  • It worked and I have my skirt done. Thank you!

  • yay!! Congratulations.

  • this is probably the most helpful binding off video ever!! thanks! (none of the other videos showed what to do with the last stitch!)

    Thanks alot.

  • GREAT! Glad it helped. happy knitting!

  • First of all, thank you so much for your videos. It took decades (literally) till last summer I found YOU and I CAN KNIT!! Since then I have knitted scarfs (my favorite to make) placemats, table runners (long and short), arm chairs mats and matching headplace mats, dish cloths, door curtain....I can't stop! Have I been binding off incorrectly on all my projects all this time. I've only been using the knit bind off on everything!!

  • wow ur like the best knitterer person ive ever seen and great video does anyone know the easiest thing to knit besides a scarf?

  • Thanks for your nice comment. Have you tried knitting a dishtowel? There are lots of free patterns on the web. Or, how about another scarf using a different stitch. Try the checkerboard. It's fun to do. another suggestion would be to knit a triangle scarf. I have a video on how to do a nice one.

Keep watching for new videos. I try to put a new one up each week.

  • ty ur a huge help=)

  • thanks!

  • nice :)

  • Thanks! Check out the new video I put up yesterday..

  • enlightening... there was only so much longer my first scarf could go before I plucked up the courage to cast off!! Thanks!

  • Congratulations! And thanks for the nice comment. Keep watching for more new videos and happy knitting!

  • That's because you need to watch the video before this. Go to her videos on page two and go to binding off (knit stitch).

  • Thanks for your support. I appreciate it. Keep watching for more new videos and happy knitting!

  • excellent! I've never done purl bind off your instructions were perfect for anyone tha knows these 2 basic stiches. thanks:)

  • sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I appreciate your nice comment. Keep watching for more new videos. Happy knitting!

  • I'm a beginner and this video doesn't help at all. Could have been better if the instruction is slow, so we starters can catch up. I don't learn anything at all.

  • Thank you, very nice :-D
