I read really far back in these comments and to anyone who says Amanda Palmer killed this because she has a "deep" or "manly" voice, why does that matter? A cover is a cover, not a copy. It's meant to be a little different. I think Amanda Palmer's voice and piano and Brian Viglione's drumming is what made this cover. Of course Brendon was great too but it wouldn't of been nearly as amazing without the Dolls backing him.

IMHO The Dresden Dolls are higher quality, because they're sound is tighter, their discography is far more extensive, and they're older and more experienced. But that being said P!ATD have a sound of their own and during 06/07 they gave mainstream music a kick in the balls with pop-punk cabaret. Who doesn't respect that?
