They sure sold out after Dookie, but at least not to crappy fans. If someone says they think the old Green Day is better, it's their opinion. Sure, not many people like 21stCB. I didn't like it too. But I took time to listen to some songs, like, a minute after Before the Lobotomy, I was surprised. I thought that song was just soft the whole time. Also, Last of the American Girl's bridge and 2nd verse has that old surf sound from Nimrod. ;) Redundant = most underrated Green Day hit.

The best thing about living in Cleveland is the Rock and Roll hall of fame which has the shirt w/tie Billie's wearing and mike's g3.....and one of Tre's burned drums set that he played at a show in Washington D.C..... the drums are not behind glass:)i touched them ...i wanted to take a small wood chip but that wouldn't be far for other people but being a massive Green Day fan it was hard not to.. oh well i got to touch them maybe one day i can meet my heros tre has made so many kids wanna play

In other words, they've all grown up but their music hasn't. I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways. The charm of GD has never been in their songwriting, but their (semi) rebellious attitude and sarcastic lyrics. They showed some real maturation on Nimrod and Warning, but AI was just a big step backward.
