  • thank you i will try to maybe switch to camtasia than hypercamera 5 stars

  • Sweet video, but do you know why for some of my videos when I try to render and when it's in the encoding stage, it takes SO long. Have any ideas why?

  • .MOV files do take a while to encode, but it's good because they have quite high quality and a small file size.

  • True, thanks!

Also, I have noticed that when I try to render, it keeps freezing and I have to render the WHOLE 8 minutes of a video (example) again.

  • When i try to render i set it to 1240 to 770 (or something like that i forgot)

and wmv it always worked but now it says 0 percent (1 sec later ) 100 percent it closes but....THERES nothing and it drives me fucking crazy

  • Is there anyway to make the video stretch to fit the widescreen? This works for me but the vid doesn't fit in the whole widescreen, yours doesn't quite either. I know how to do it in Vegas but I just got camtasia and my guess is you probably can't?

  • the HD link appeared but why the hell only 1:30 of my original vid is on youtuber?

  • When you make a movie always check it before upload. Something might have gone wrong during rendering

  • thanks ill try again

    do u like the vid?

  • oh i found it. ty.

    ill post my video reply

    i hope itll work

  • where u choose where to browse it :O???

  • after 2:42 i have to click finish then what happens? The vid directly should have HD on youtube?

  • how long does it take for the "watch in HD" link to appear?

  • You know the resolution, make sure it's set to 1290x720

the HD link ill appear in like 10 - 15 minutes.

  • i have a 12 second clip up on my account. And it doesn't have the HD link. I've followed every step

  • make sure the resolution is set to 1290x720

  • it is...

  • have you saved it as a .mov file?

  • can you make the video as .wmv and have it HD, because i am having some weird problem with Quicktime video, the video is all fuzzy and is just unwatchable.

  • Have you clicked the watch in HD link?

  • NO, no...During the editing of the video that happened, before i even uploaded it to Youtube.

But i just downgraded to XP and the problem seems to be fixed... I guess Vista wasn't giving me much luck with Camtasia Studio

  • thanks alot.

  • When i record my cursor flashes and i dont know where i am clicking. Can you help me?

  • If I drag that video into an editing system will it effect the way it uploads into HD? Just curious im going to try. (with resolution of 1280x720

  • Youtube recommends 1290x720. And yeah dragging a video into the editor will only affect the size of the video it's self. And it should take longer to upload a HD quality video

  • okay thanx..

  • i got windows vista err... is it possible with that? the link is for apple ur computer is apple..

  • Yeah it should work with Vista. And my Computer isn't apple The apple link is for quick time player which you need in order for your computer to read the MOV file which you are making.

  • dood thanks alot man, you have my respect :]

  • Thanks. :)

  • wats the serial?

  • Sorry but I'm not allowed to give it away. Sorry I don't pirate things.

  • hey can you help me? i have a problem,i putted me video in HD: my new intro, but if i click on HD it wont load can you help me?

  • Depedns on your internet speed.

  • ok thnx =)

  • correction loaded*

  • when i upload my video it says, Failed (unable to convert video file) what am i doing wrong?(this is after i unloaded this is the process.

  • That's sounds like a problem with youtube try using the bulk uploader or try uploading it again

  • i got the same problem it wouldnt upload?

  • leave it to upload over night. it takes a little longer for to upload to youtube.u

  • Sorry to add yet another comment, but just how big was this file?

  • If youer talking about screen resolution. I used 1280x720

If your talking about the memory it takes up, somewhere between 20 - 60 MB.

  • Youtube Actually recommends 1290x720 for windscreen. Even if you screen resolution is 1280x800, you can still export it in that size and it works great I have found.

  • Yeah I know, some one told me Via Tiwitter, I'll have to try it and see what happens.

Nevery try Never succeed or fail

  • when I make HD videos, they are fine until I upload them to youtube. The Video is good quality, however it is twice as fast. However the audio is fine...Would you have any idea?

  • When you make the videos, are you importing media? Because that tends to happen with Camtaisa.

  • No actually, but thanks anyway.

  • hey i can't upload ma video man

  • It should, becuase the video is in HD it takes longer for youtube to upload it.

  • thanks man. Nice video 5 stars from me ;-)

  • *Help* :D

When your "batching" is it before or after you render the video... Thanx :D

  • it has to be done as soon as you open camtasia, but you need to have done a screen recording or have another video to do the batch. once you have made the preset, you can use it on other videos.

  • What size do you record in?

  • 1024x720

  • Thanks man. And your quick!

  • No problem. I'm always on the computer. So when someone posts a new comment It never goes un-noticed.

  • Also, is there a way to autopan? 1024X720 doesn't take up enough screen for me.

  • btw how big is your hd file?

  • Depends on the length. Usually my videos are about 20-30MB

  • you know the size of your screen does it hav 2 b the same size as the hd?

  • if your talking about where you setthe custom size after doing all the settings then yes.

  • so i uploaded it now nd if i cum bk on it 2mrw therll b watch in hd? i followd the stepss

  • Yeah. If you did everything correctly.

  • thanx so much!!

  • how long does it take for WATCH IN HD 2 cum up

  • Depends on the size of the video. But usually 5-10 minutes.

  • thanks :P where can i find that background?

  • interfacelift

  • is it normal to take a couple of hours for a 10 minute video?

  • Depends.

  • Its over 550+ MBs!!!

Any advice on making it a good bit smaller and alot quicker to make???

  • How long was the video?

  • 10 minutes

Instead of choosing Batch Productions i went to import video and simply produced it indivually

its a good bit quicker, approx 90 mins compared to over double that!

But the file size is still on average 500 - 600MB!

I am currently uploading a movie , slumdog millionaire, in HD so any advice to make it smaller would be grateful!

    Thanks :-D

  • Fair enough. If you have another way of doing it go ahead. Not sure about the file size though. Might be big becuase it's HD.

  • Yeah it might becuase if it's in HD, youtube has to upload it first. Then convert it, then make sure it fits on youtube, and then they have to make it HD ready. So if it's a 10 minute video then yeah it will take a while. Best to use Bulk uploader.

  • Nice video.

I'm just uploading 2 videos right now, they both have one different setting. I'm going to see if there is any difference in quality.

  • Not copying or anything, but someone requested this video from me so I might be also doing this kinda video! Great video 5/5

  • Thanks. Go ahead.

  • kk thanks a lot man!
