  • better in cages than taking a dirt nap :/

  • with all that is going on in the world, i can take a few minutes to watch something like this and it will just make my day

  • i bid good day to you sir

  • thats good, cranes are pretty cool :D

  • Without them, Danielsan would have probably lost to the Cobra Kai. For that, I am forever indebted to the crane.

  • Good job keep up the good work

  • This is a great video! That zookeeper is adorable too, how she describes interacting with the cranes

  • Yes...they love all their animals cranes are amazing

  • holy fuck! 6 feet tall?!?!? thats as tall as i am!

  • and thats only the second tallest crane

  • realy.....?

  • That`s nice.

  • sweet

  • So cute!!

  • :O D'awe. So fucking cute.

  • Heee... Hatched on my birthday.

  • I thought the National Zoo was lacking I went. I think the Houston Zoo is better.

  • why do people care so much about comments lik 1st and crap ike that it has nothing to do with the video but i feel sorry for the baby

  • aww :)

    babiessss (L)

    but holy, 6 ft

that bird would be towering over me aha

  • Jorge Ribas is a typical Californian name. It points to surfers. The correlation is funny

  • it is sad that the animals must be captive but.. there are very little.. i would rather see them in captivity then not at all and they live longer in captivity

  • I like the biologist woman. She has an absolutely honest personality like me.

  • And you obviously dont have a modest personality

  • No, it just depends on if you are proud about the right thing and not ashamed of it. I bet this is the closest description of your problem, and of all prejudiced right-wingers. How could you trust yourself so you wouldn't have to abuse other people?

  • Sorry i thought you were one of those narrow minded fat posers on here.... i get bashed by losers for saying stuff like you did... again apologies

  • ok.

  • It's sad that these beautiful creatures have to be in cages like this.

  • its also sad that these parents have to have their chick taken away from them

  • Seriously. ;(

  • Well, in the wild, the parents usually leave the chicks to take care of themselves after the chicks become mature enough.

  • well they have to be or else they would just die for sure in the wild.

  • No, they wouldn't. You obviously don't know anything about animals and how they were meant to live.

  • no, you obviously don't know why so many endangered animals are in captivity.

its because they need breeding programs to survive.

  • I thought you were going to complain, but when I read the whole comment it was what I thought. It's a good thing they got many endangered animals in zoo's, if not they would die completely out.

  • Bob, I guess you don't understand that the way they were meant to live is altered because of humans.

Notice how we too are animals, yet being engineers, we have altered our way of living completely. We have changed our surroundings to suit our needs, instead of what nature intended. 99% of species are extinct, and humans are not doing much to prevent any more from happening.

  • humans are the only animals that try to improve their life for example 200,000 years ago when humans were even more primitive monkeys the amount of time a human would live was 25 years but us wanting to live longer changed how we live to make that so but I wish humans were exterminated

  • 200,000 years ago humans didnt exist. Humanitys only evolved in the last 10,000 years. Why would you wish sapiens were exterminated?

  • no humans existed for 200,000 years not as the ones you know just as more monkey looking creatures and because you at what they do and tell me it isn't time for a cleansing i say if we have the technology to build advance robots in the future then we replace the flawed and obsolete human with machines

  • you cant be serious!!

  • yup the second tallest 6ft imagine the 1st tallest

  • SKY NET!

  • I do understand that. I never said anything against it.

Nature has/had everything that we need. There's no need to alter anything. Humans altered it because they became highly developed and developed the concepts of society and the mass media to help brainwash themselves.
