@speyeker I think they did it to fuck with us fighting Roxas would have been a bit easier with those songs but they threw in this and I was like I don't want to fight him anymore his life sucked as it was now you want me to beat him up, fuck you square Enix fuck you. Interesting that they chose this as the battle theme over The Other Promise. Heh, it would have been even cooler if they used Enter The Darkness/Unbreakable Chains. Oh well.

What I love is that this battle is a direct consequence of the actions of 358/2 Days. That game had a horrifically sad ending, and it seemed like nothing could ever rectify it. But here we see that a faint memory of Xion remains in Roxas--namely, the pain of losing her. And he's teaching Sora to hold on to that pain, because without it, Xion truly will be lost to oblivion. In many ways this helps to show that while Days may have ended on a sad note, the story's not over yet!

I love KH.I'm a huge fan, and I spent many years waiting for KH2. I own every game in the saga, and to date I still play all of them religiously.

But GOD THIS GAME WAS STUPID. The gameplay was perfect, the music was reused/remixed (but perfect anyways) and the story was so amazingly retarded I still find it hard to believe this is a KH game.

Bah, it was a remake of a mobile phone game, my own fault for expecting anything else.

@iiixySaTnAfLaNiF The gameplay is perfect, but that isn't everything, and every KH fan knows that. I liked the game, but it was completely pointless from start to finish, it learns nothing, adds nothing, and means nothing to the main KH storyline. I'm not saying it's a bad game (it's still better than most ActionRPG's out there, SE still has at least that) it was just unnecessary as a KH.

Oh, and all the games remix music, but usually they all have enough own themes to fill a couple CD's.

@rasengan46 Ok, you get "simple and clean" on a ds game, a new keyblade system, achievements, and now Sora knows that there were others before him, and because of them, he's a keyblade wielder. Also, you have to admit the meer fact that they remade the original kingdom hearts minus some of the worlds while still making sure that everything is different. Oh yeah, and they explain why they had to make 358, bbs, and why they have to make ddd. So shut up about this game not being relevent or good!

The same music, an extremely fresh and improved set of gameplay mechanics, Sora has no direct relation to the plot weren't it for the letter telling him about BbS (this meaning the "in-wolds" plot has no weight whatsoever), and the game being essentially some of the scenarios from KH revamped minus the storyline and the mistery. I am just sad at what this game could have been, and isn't.

Seriously, listen to it, there are snippets of similarity here and there.

Maybe they wanted to recreate Nobuo Uematsu's style after he quit and went for other companies like Mistwalker after several Final Fantasies he had helped with (There is a clear musical difference between the Final Fantasies I-XII and the Final Fantasies after that, with the exception of FF XIV, in which Nobuo Helped with also.) If so, they did well!

@animefanultimania Well, Riku appears after a short cakewalk. Data Roxas appears after a complete chapter of the game. Also, everything around Data Roxas was essential to the story of the overall series. I do agree Riku is a bonus boss, he is quite easy with your superpowers, while DR is kind of hard, and you'll likely need to train a little to beat him. DR and Riku in days can't really be compared. Also, in chronological order, he is the "Final" boss.

@ikbenbeterinclubpeng i know, i just dont think data roxas should be considered the final boss because in all the games thus far you have more than one round with the final bosses. in kh1 you fight ansem twice. in kh c.o.m. you fight marluxia 3 times. in kh2 you fight xemnas 5 times. in kh bbs you fight xehanort 2 times as terra, 2 times with vanitas as ven and 2 times with terranort as aqua. in kh 358/2 days you fight xion 3 or times. and then you have 4 rounds with sora's heartless roxas one
