  • are you in destin florida

  • This Vid is real refreshing to the memory since i havent tricked in a gd while

  • i always thought it was funny how tricking had different terminology than martial arts.

  • @Killerboot369 tricking is more of an art. its aim is not to hit your oponent but more like a showoff.. :)

  • that was really helpful to me. I think im on right track :)

    Thank u.

  • Noise of a saw and lorrys in back ground annoying and distracting and dude u look bored showing this :( thanks for trying though

  • Kaizuhh Solzeeyy!

  • once my wing- tsun teacher told me: a kick above a chest is a useless kick. and before you start raging ... i know this isn't meant to be used for fighting, this is tricking, but I'm just pointing this out for people who would want to use tricking for self defense. although this would really help to build up some of your muscles and help your flexibility a lot.

  • @theamzer A kick above a chest is useless.. If its your teacher doing it perhaps

  • @theamzer Yes in Wing Chun high kicks are useless, because the blocks dont fit with kicks to the head as counter attack. But for people who are training high kicks like Muay Thai or Taek won do guys, this kicks will may work. But I agree 540 Kicks or even 720 Kicks are not usefull in a reallife situation

  • @NiaoSun Not usefull in a real life situation? what about a competition of tricking, or even to impress a girl :D

  • Dude where in florida is this?? Looks like my old nieghborhood

  • @hottopic789 There is no such thing as a parkourist.... learn your facts befoore you put something online please.

  • all martial artist have different ways of teaching techniques , good for u and ur positive attitude, dont listen 2 negetive feed backs.

  • Not sure if im the only one who noticed this but u looked like u were getting hard, put ur shirt over it. Paused the video. Let relax, then resume? XD

  • @TheVideoVector Why are u looking down there anyway, this is a tricking tutorial...

  • @futureafpilot4 It was quite noticeable when he pulled his shirt down. Idk. Whyd you look down at my comment?

  • Great video, I'm literally just entering the world of tricking and am pro noob (can't do cartwheel yet) but this video explained it quite well. :)

  • @jameselsey1986 thought i'm the only one^^

  • thas a very good video but you should have a part in slowmotion to show people how to do it better but nice video

  • This guy sux at teaching, he says you have to put the feet here and then in demonstration he puts it elsewhere...

  • Excuse me mike, do you mind me asking what your standing vertical jump is? Cause mine is about 60-65 (standing) and I'm thinking about starting training to get it up to 90ish so I can pull out some stronger kicks and twists, will It help me much? And will it also help me make the tricks/kicks appear more outstanding? Thanks.

  • were not complete idiots dudee i thimk we know how to do cartwheels

  • Nice tutorial, man! I'm starting to trick now, i've been training parkour and freerunning for about a year an a half, and Taekwondo for a few months....It helps ALOT on both of those..

Into parkour? Check out my latest videos and please subscribe!

    ~Pe@cE~

  • nice video editing......

  • Hmm.

I've met this tricking today, on trickstutorials, and I think i like it. However im not too agile, i mean i didnt sport too much so far. Do you have any suggestion how should I start all this? I mean it seems obvious that i should start with the first tricks you show :) but beside exercising some moves often, how could i improve my "agility"?

  • uma merda de video vai tomar no cu cacete

  • The only bad thing i have to say about this is please dont keep your leg completely straight during a hook kick. Yes, its good to keep it straightish but dont lock it. Locking leads to hyperextension=Broken leg=No tricking= sad man (or wo man)

  • OR you can do an actual hook kick and chamber, fully extend and rechamber your leg ;)

  • This is a nice guide, i love when these guides dont start with "first you must do a backflip..." cause that makes new ppl do crazy retarded stuff and later on die.

My idvice to new ppl is to make any kind of martial art... Tricking mostly comes from martial arts. Capoeira, TKD, muay thai are some of the MAs that will lead you to tricking.

  • the thing on ticking is some ppl are learning things like backflips is for bboying and don't want to learn everything else tho

  • I am not sure about anyone elses opinion but I am learning tricking bboying and I want to learn everything not just backflips. Saying that i would want to learn back flips the least because 'everyone' can do a backflip.

  • You think, that it's better to start martial arts or go to a gymnastics centre?

  • @twigon Personal preference I guess? You don't NEED to know any martial arts to begin, but having a gym in the beginning helps a ton when learning new moves you're too scared to do

  • Any... it starts from building up body strength. No strength in your legs = no high jumping. No strength in your shoulders, arms = no strength to hold yourself and do epic stuff on the ground.

  • @twigon Gymnastics, but not the "dance gymnastics". In gymnastics you usually find decent teachers and big chunk of what you learn you'll use. It also helps with notion of what you're doing while tricking

Capoera if you have good teachers is awesome but thats not so frequent and also people usually here are more into tricking then gymnastics.

In TKD/MA you learn to control stuff you don't in the other sports. Kicks are really important in tricking and TKD's is great in that.Great for Trick2Kill.

  • @twigon Short answer, go straight to tricking, Being a formal gymnastics coach, you might learn handstands and cartwheels, but it may take you a year or so before you start doing flips, instead you'll be learning things like forward rolls b/ward rolls which are good, but pretty useless in tricking, over here, in aus, you have to go to gradings too, which cost money and you have to do every apparatus, like rings, not just floor, so i suggest straight to tricking. : )

  • O.O HOLY SHIT I THINK I KNOW THAT PLACE.

Can't remember where, but it's south florida right? That house with the black screened room used to be (maybe it still is) my cousin's house. There's a pool in that screen room.

  • hahaha noway..... my sister bought the one nexto to it some years back... there must be so little places in the world lol

  • were u from?

  • this isnt a jujimufu viid... oh wells.. good vid i guess though..

  • No one ever said it was...

I believe you are referring to the description saying it comes from trickstutorials. He meant it came from the forum

  • agreed

  • well its a tutorial for beginers...he ain't gonna be flying around incouraging beginers to break their necks is he? lol

  • @skatelover909 Oh to retarded to fast forward? It's ok some people might be more dumb the you are. Don't miss the short bus kiddo!

    lol

  • Great Tut for beginners ;)

  • Liczba wyświetleń: 66666

    LOL. xdd

  • It's really good and helpfull...thank you for posting this 5/5 ^_^

  • i think its Oviedo

  • ............ that looks like my cuzins neighborhood XD

  • im starting to do tricking and it is harder then just flipping

  • HOOK COOK!!!

  • thsi video made me understand that tricking is not just about flipping.

  • r u in florida in this vid???

  • Looks like it doesnt it? I feel like i've been in this neighborhood, i think its in miramar :P

  • how was tricking developed, or came about? (was it an underground fighting system, or did some guys just think it was cool to combine a few moves)

  • well, i was going to watch this then i hear "go barefoot and dont wear shoes because they will get snagged in the grass"....and thats where i hit pause...adotindie and ryukenosuke are right

  • he doesnt know wat hes talking about ,

    ryukenosuke's right

  • this is useful in real combat ,

if you dont agree fight me ill show you,

    lol

    j/k

but this stuff is very usefull

  • Alright heres the deal, those o yall hatin on tricking cause its useless in a fight are jealous fools. Admit it, you very well know you wish you had the capability, but since you have no capactiy for endurance and flexibility, yall think its cute to critisize it instead! Yall know its true. So stop with the crap about tricking being useless.

  • ...I wish I could change my rating from 2s to 1s. I didn't realize how unpolished his moves would be, and his terminology isn't correct. His hooks are crescents. His pop 360 "one legged" was a cheat 720. He's unbalanced in his technique, like during his jump snap kick (front kick)...and what tricker uses that? Also...what tricker will ever use a headstand?

We need to promote better vids of tricking than this. ) : *is venting*

  • dude jump front kicks are used in xma alot....

  • jujimufu still has the best kicks.

  • @s0fw0n perception.

  • @s0fw0n juji's kicks don't give the impression of any power behind them. they're floaty and stale just like most other trickers.

  • @s0fw0n Shut Up will you, NO ONE CARES.

  • anything can be used in a fight the question is do you wan t to use it in a fight? and capoeira is mostly used to evade not block but the fighting style is incredible ans is just as effective as any other type of martial it just depends on the person who is doing it=D

  • ok yes these kicks probably cant be used in fights but thats not what trickings about dude. tricking is break dance gymnastics and martial arts combined. so give it a rest tricking has nothing to do with fighting it is just to be sweet do sweet flips and tricks and most importantly have fun!

  • tricking originatd from martial arts dumbass!! i dnt trick and i know tht

  • Trick fight moves are cool, so I don't understand what some people got against it. As long as a person, when defending themselves, knows the differnce between show moves, and standard, more usefull moves it's all good to me.

  • I can feel the love. Stop fighting and let's get to tricking!

  • This is really good for beginners the basic's basics as I call it.

    Much Props

  • i dont give a sht anymore! xma trickin whatever! i wont appologise to anybody over here so stop msging me! fucking spamming my email!i got a sht load of your comments crowding my email and its fucking irratating so stop it. leeeaaavveee meeee alooooonnneeee

  • wasn't criticizing...or asking for an apology. was just trying to help explain.. try to keep a cool head about things dude. no need to swear

  • i'm trying sooo hard, its just that people are being assholes and people keep spamming my email and its pissing me off

  • whooooooo the fuuuuuck keeps messaging meee????!!!!

  • hahaha, he approaches his cartwheels like a child

  • thanks... this kick i realy need too learn.

  • your 540's wrong.

The leg that kicks is suppose to be the same leg that lands first.

So you put your left knee into a chamber after you get the momentum of that first spin as your right leg launch's off, kicks, and lands on the ground befor the left leg ever touch's back onto the ground. Plus in the begining in what you did, your "hook kick" was really an outside crecent kick.

Im not tryin to sound like a dick or anythin, im just lookin for tutorials to help me out but i thought I'd correct you

  • wat the hell? this isnt tricking its martial arts.

  • you dumbass, a form of tricking is martial arts tricking

  • you're retarded MARTIAL ARTS = SELF DEFENCE= FIGHTING CONDITIONING. TRICKING = FLIPS SPINS HIGHSPEED MANUVERS AND USELESS SHIT THAT LOOKS NICE. martial arts is NOT A TOY. DUMBASS ITS NOT TRICKING. TAKE SOME MARTIAL RTS CLASSES SOMEWHERE! WETHER ITS SMOOTH DEEP THAI CHI OR GET SMACKED AROUND IN KICK BOXING. damn wtf people!

  • martial arts is not tricking! martial arts is MARTIAL ARTS

  • its called XMA, extreme martial arts. it IS tricking. get over yourself and turn off your E-THUG key, typing in all caps makes me take you less seriously. just do a search for Team Ryouko, one of the best XMA groups in the tricking scene

  • i dont give a shit. extreme martal arts my ass. no such thing as extreme martial arts. where the hell do you hear these things? team ryoko probably actually knows martial arts. u ever thought about that? maybe they'er martial artists that maybe doing it for years. and like i said earlier, martial arts is not a toy

  • alright i just wrote an entire reply and its not showing up...

no one is calling it a toy, in the same sense that gymnastics is not a toy. theyre both disciplines and artforms. if you would do some research and maybe take a chance and step out of your little box you may learn something new. instead you sit there making ridiculous claims about how things dont exist.

"XMA is a mixture of virtually all martial arts styles blended together with high-flying acrobatics and gymnastics"

    see next post

  • OMG fck u, rediculous claims my ass! just stop replying to me. your spamming my email inbox!

  • dont deny it baby, you LIKE it

  • omg u stalker! =P

  • Dude what the fuck?!?!?! Team Ryouko is XMA(Extreme Martial Arts) they teach it and say it themselves that they train it. You are so freaaaking... Annoying!

  • you shoulda thought twice about replying to me then. team ryouko probably does martial arts.FOR REAL. not this fake stuff.

  • Dude what the fuck?!?!?! Team Ryouko is XMA(Extreme Martial Arts) they teach it and say it themselves that they train it. You are so freaaaking... Annoying!

  • lol.. allow me to help this situation.. I'm on team ryouko so i'll explain this as delicately as possible..

Everyone on team ryouko has been trained to a degree in martial arts. I myself have done tkd, karate and now muay thai. primarily though, i am a gymnast. XMA, (or XSD) is a combination of acrobatics and martial arts, mixed into one type of style. XMA is designed for showmanship, and is completely NON-practical. HOWEVER, XMA's roots lie in traditional martial arts elements

  • XMA utilizes elements of several martial arts, mixes it with acrobatics and other cool tricks, for the purpose of performing eye catching movements, and demonstrating the human bodies potential. XMA is NOT a traditional martial art form, and is not a form of self defense. Although many of the performance kicks ARE REAL kicks.. they're mixed with other more "acrobatically oriented" things to make it the presentation more exciting.

check my vids so that you can see some of my background

  • And who are your specificly?

    Havoc?

  • Nope!.. lol. Eli Martyr. When the new Team ryouko site gets put up with the new roster, you'll see me. i just recently came on board

  • Retards, stop arguing about babystuff

  • you stfu

  • yet there are useless jumping spin kicks etc. in some martial arts. some 'martial arts' are oriented toward flashy moves that would never work in a real fight situation. i.e. what jackie chan does. jackie chan admits what he does wouldn't work in a real fight, but it is flashy and entertaining. another example is copaira. I didn't spell that right, but it is not an effective defense, it is just very flashy. Will someone correct my spelling, please?

  • its spelled capoeira. and in capoeira, there are different styles, and the one you mar be refering to is capoeira regional or"modern capoeira" its way more evesive, faster and acrobatic, but thats its general style. Capoeira itself doesnt use ANY blocks unless you really have to, but in a real fight, you wouldnt just stand there and try to block every single attack, be realistic.

  • i DISAGREE!....capoeira was used to overcome a rebellion in brazil...how could they win a rebellion with useless moves? and capoeira DEFINATELY can b useful...its so unorthodox it can ACTUALLY WORK!....i think if u just think OUTSIDE of the box u will see dat everyone has there own way n some may b crawling on da ground to flyin in da air...whatever fits U! is wat i say...

  • yes, i agree completely with both of you. One reason the capoeristas are "flashy" is that they had their hands bound by chain. They needed to use their feet. It is more realistic to dodge attacks rather than block. Capoeira is based on evasion. There are two types of capoeira. Capoeira Regional: new fast paced and showy. Capoeira Angola: the traditional, meant for fighitng

  • it is more EFFECTIVE to dodge attacks, but the problem is that no one actually has the reflexes to do that continualy. if it was that easy, MMA fighters would be constantly dodging attacks. If you've seen videos of capoeristas vs. MMA fighters you'll see that though the theory is very good, in practice it just doesn't work unless you're somehow superhuman

  • no, i know, you're completely right. A person can't dodge all the attacks. MMA fighters are the real fighters. Fights always come down to the basics, never the flashy stuff. Kick and punch, thats all. Ehh, godly evasion and attack: Only Chuck Norris could probably pull it off.

  • I disagree, I think it is much more effective to block as blocking usually opens up your opponents torso. However, if anyone has seen a REAL fight (other than one where the fighters grab/grapple each other) you will notice people dodge MUCH more easily than they block.

  • I love the way you start from the absolute basics. All those times I failed to do aerials and wondered why, turns out I couldn't even do proper cartwheels.

  • uuuiiii amazing tricks !!!!! *lol* :P

  • Thanx for uploading this. WHere can I download this so I can analyse and learn these moves more?

  • lol

  • ??????

    I was being serious

  • Did you try looking in the "About This Video" section?

  • owned, lol

  • wen your doing say a jumping spinning kick of somesort. try to rotate your body in a different way instead of doing a 360 from a birds eye view

  • Hey man, thanks for the defense. That's why people don't do nice things for other people anymore :(

  • jeah i thought it was a really good toturial i really do

next time pls voice a little bit louder

    thanks for the toturial

  • @kaizersolze tgggggg

  • This is a novice tutorial video. Who the hell does flips when they just start? This is a good way to start getting in to tricking. l2read

  • kacper bardzo slabe bo nic nie rozumiem i to nie som salta

  • why is everyone complaining here. He didn't even MAKE this video. It says clearly he got it from a different website. Sheesh.

  • haaaa!!

    haaaa!!

oohh boy you talk too much!..

  • Omfg , i just wanna say 1 thing , learn to do the tricks before u start a tutorial! u cant do a tornado kick right and u dont know what to do in a aerial!

  • Yoshidude22 of course u can

  • i do have a vid with a backflip in it.

  • so?

  • that was no 540

  • <_<

  • Great tutorial (or beginning of one) Its good to see someone actually teaching the basics - foundation in martial arts is the essential essence of tricking, without that, you're just doing gymnastics. Actually, I've seen some sick combos just of well executed wheel, tornado, and butterfly kicks. Much more stylish and agressive than some other combos including flips.

  • Thank you!

  • dude! that kick is called different names in different styles of martial arts...its called a hook kick in mine and its probably a heel kick in yours...learn a little something about martial arts before you go bashing sumone like that.

  • check psionics - dope fight it's a trick fight

  • you've got skills in what you do.but you can't teach.

  • Dude that was no 540

  • dude i cant do a 540 round kick lol , but i can do a 540 creasent kick =P

  • Is this is Florida?

  • lol no balance

  • hey mike, i know you have mad skills, you can doubletwist easily, that's why i don't understand this video, you present tricking like do handstands, cartwheels or jumping front kick... man, that's not tricking, at least for me, the basics of tricking is gainer, btwist, doubleleg, backflip or aerial, something easier of these moves is just mess around.

    just my 2 cents.

  • i agree.

however i also understand his need to demonstrate the basics in order to make the breakdowns for gainers, butterfly twists and etc, easier for himself.

    but im with you,

    i don't think that's tricking either.

while they may be useful in combos, it seems a bit tame.

  • you have to remember thought that some people won't even be able to do a simple 540 kick until they learn to use their bodies in certain ways first.

  • Not a great deal of balance but you have a lot of skill.

  • good tips

  • adjust your setups if you want to kick "into" the camea

  • Lol reverse hooks and reverse crescents are two different things. But good job on the basics.

  • HAHAHA i remember when you filmed this... hella old vid...I learned my hook and toranado from this.. haha.

  • AHHHHHHHHH this is my trick video! hhahah

  • hmm.. i think you released your jump spinning hook kick or cresent kick a bit early..

  • Dont listen to the cartweel part its wrong...

  • he said cartwheel handstand

  • lmfao kyuubi40. Most of the kicks are only for shows and sometimes battle. xD but i like it nice job. Im gonna try it out.

  • y cant u use these moves of violence wat if a dude come and kill ur mom dad sist or brother then ill kill him i already got shuriken and kunai throwing down

  • your a fucking retard..

  • Its very good shame there isnt anymore to it

  • in TKD ur hook kick is Turning Long the hurricane kick is a WALLOP nice vid maybe ill make 1 too hahaha

  • great tutorial...really needed this kind of tutorial. I'm bare into my 3rd week of tricking. And I didn't know kicks were part of tricking. I can only do cartwheel, fhs, backflip, front n sideflip...I guess I can add those kicks to my small library of tricks =P

  • Yay Machop. I wonder why he didn't post it himself. He's a douche...Hi Mike :)

  • nice tut, you kicks were clean and nice.

  • not bad i was just about to look up the kicks that you did.(Moohahaha first comment :PP)
