  • That 360 turn had a 9/11 result. Shit happens but still, you shouldn't fly towards the ground. RIP people.

  • Watch thy airspeed least the earth arise and smite thee.

  • the pilot was an asshole who had been reprimanded before for reckless flying. It was showing off pure and simple but other people died because of him. I hope he realised what he had done in the last seconds.

  • I feel so sorry for the crew OTHER than the pilot that were incinerated for the act of trusting the pilot.

  • When the wing goes perpendicular to the ground like that, there is no more lift under the wing, therefore, at that point it just falls, as you can see. Sad move, bad judgement to bank that steep. RIP

  • I believe that was a life sized airplane made into an R-C airplane.

  • Fuck the military

  • @Appo47 Hey, fuck you, fucko

  • @Appo47 Fuck you Hippie

  • @Appo47 go dump yourself in a hole and never come out

  • Too low, too slow, and too much bank for a plane that size. Madness.

  • That pilot is a dumbass. Too bad he had to kill other people instead of just himself.

  • low and slow , 2 basic no no's of any type of flying.

  • To answer why would someone do that. The pilot, Bud Holland, was an idiot, and probably an overconfident, egotistical jerk. The USAF should have fired him long before he had a chance to kill his fellow crew members & waste millions of taxpayer dollars.

  • At 0:25 I could already tell his angle was too much...

  • The three most useless things in aviation... the sky above you, the runway behind you, and the gas you leave on the ground. ... pretty much sums this one up.

  • Idiot>>RIP

  • Why would you do that at such low altitude. so crazy with a huge plane like that.

  • these need a aircraft investigation

  • YANK AND BANK UNREALISTIC ANGEL FOR BIG BOMBER LIKE B52!

  • someone's not getting there 8 killstreak award. R.I.P if he died

  • @machinimaman1 he just got crushed to the fuck and exploded into pieces and his molecules were burned DOWN to FUCK by the fire, how would he survive that?

  • @machinimaman1 you are retarded. gz

  • why would u make such a wide turn at such low altitude....

  • I dont think the pilot screamed as he went down, Probably sounded more like;

    "Derp"

  • a bomber at an airshow? is that common?

  • @Darknight06 it wasnt an airshow, it was just practicing for the upcoming one, the title is misleading and wrong so are most comments on here

  • The fastest type of disarmament.

  • RIP pilot

  • nd thats why you dont carry bomvbs on a plane during an airshow

  • i always wonder what pilot's think moments before they crash.

  • @AgentMrX7 "oh shi..."

  • Haha

  • "passengers, if you look to the left you will see the ground"

  • @Flamingcat823 hahahahahaha lol

  • and we wonder why we have a 3 trilion dollar debt.

  • Bank Angle !

    Bank Angle !

  • holy crap :( no way out of that :( RIP

  • I wonder why people take such risks? Its not even intertaining to see some big plane go around in a circle, big whoop. Save your life and just do a fly by.

  • RIP

  • Wikipedia has a good write up on Bud Holland's reckless history as a pilot.

  • And yes, it was pilot error. He did not do it on purpose, meaning intentionally crash the bomber, but he did bank it too hard trying to 'show boat', for this was the last time he was going to fly (retiring) and thought he would give the crowd a show. All crew members on board died. There is a memorial where the crash happened.

  • No one survived. This happened near Airway Heights, near Spokane, WA. This was the pilot's last flight, he was retiring. It actually crashed near the survival school on Fairchild AFB.

  • Did anyone survive?

  • That could have been prevented if the piolit did not make too sharp of a turn.

  • Maneuver quite inclined pilot can not leave the plane for landing straight!

  • This prevented many more non-American civilians from being slaughtered by this machine's continued existence.

"Heroes" my ass. "Shock and Awe! Let's Level Bhagdad! Yee Fucking Haw!!!!"

  • @UTubeIsTrackingYou This was taken 26 years ago......

  • @Thestfutruck Nope, back to elementary math class...No Bombing Fun For You!

  • @UTubeIsTrackingYou Ment 17 =(

  • Did he respawn?

  • wow.

  • The USAF claimed that the pilot flying this B-52 was a little to stupid and if he carried on they would give him a huge kick up the ass he carried on this happens. The problem was there was pilots he took with him RIP to all of them. That bank angle was to tight unfortuantly this crash was due to pilot error. Yet again i say RIP either way they were heroes.

  • BANK ANGLE - BANK ANGLE - BANK ANGLE.....

  • @PROPHETx2531 seriously?

  • Did he live?

  • @Avdikii no

  • @Avdikii yeah genius, he brushed himself off and walked away to turn himself in to the mp's.

  • It's called a knife slide folks, its not uncommon and provides normal lift, the only issue is that knife slides are fighter maneuvers, so it was a rudder issue, not a stall, so enough trolling his actions

  • that thing was almost completely vertical.....what idiot pilot thinks they're going to get any lift like that?

  • its a wing stall haha idiots

  • Even with my rc plane I don't lost speed like he did. It's not a jet but a B52!! You wanted give a good show... you win.. idiot !!

  • Omfg

  • someone needs a band-aid

  • what a noob

  • How did this guy even qualify as a pilot?

  • holland got what he deserved. RIP rest of flight crew.

  • cool! -1 democracy carrier. 100-200 saved lives on middle east

  • the pilot was an idiot....

    jk, i know shit happens

  • I dont understaund why ppl likes this video, when ppl died on board ! :S

  • @wuxter94 just the pilot dies that was a airshow

  • @kaos3124 everyone on board died.

  • Comment removed

  • @Fsxlovely So I guess you are not 44 like it said on your profile :)

  • @chrisakky mhm ur right =P

  • hear the girl between :29 to the end its so funny

  • whys this idiot flyin so low....lol.....no wonder he fuckin crashed.....

  • my colonel knew the pilot in this video, it was kenny something don't recall his last name or maybe that was his last name, but he was trying to bank it and obviously didn't work, but show the man some respet, after he did fight for our country, OORAH!

    cpl harris USMC

  • No wonder it crashed it was going to slow

  • bombers can't make steap turns so the bomber stalled and tip stalled in to the ground

  • Nice flyin Jethro.

  • This was done by a possibly-insane pilot at Fairchild Air Force Base. en(DOT)wikipedia(DOT)org/wiki/1994_Fairchild_Air_Force_Base_B-52_crash It was not at an air show; it was for a practice at an air show. Sadly, it killed one pilot who was on his final flight before retirement--the screams you hear are his friends and family, who were there to watch.

  • that is just hard to watch...

  • Speaking as a pilot, I don't know how anyone could put a plane of that size in such a manuever, Perhaps the starboard engines had a surge and caused the port wing to lose lift, resulting in a wing stall. Just horrible to watch.

    Joseph F

    Portland, OR USA

  • Too much bank angle .. idiot got his crew killed.

  • From the altitude and sharp turn it was destined to happen

  • To me it looks like the pilot banked way too much for a heavy aircraft like the B-52, and it got out of control and stalled. Unrecoverable stall, pilot error. A lot of old planes are put to the test by pilots who don't know the limits of the aging airframe. Re-created aircraft are therefore much better in airshows, as they are built from the ground up, and haven't seen any air duty. I like ca. 100 years old aircraft best, they don't even look like they could fly, but they do.

  • @Barbecutie1 sorry mate you're wrong... wikipedia B52 crash Fairchild Base... it was all pilot error, theres an accident investigation write up there.

  • One day before my birthday!

  • 10 kill streak Kamikaze!!!. hajja.. BOOOM!

  • @pascaletje9 dude little respect.....

  • Napalm kamikaze!@!@!@!@

  • @Barbecutie1 You are factually wrong. The B-52 in this video had no engine trouble or any other malfunctions at the time. This crash was proven by the investigators to be 100% pilot error. And it wasn't some innocent mistake, but a life-long pattern of deliberately reckless maneuvers by the pilot. Google Lt. Colonel Bud Holland. And don't come yappin' your mouth unless you know what you are talking about. Class dismissed.

  • @blue46gt It was 100% pilot error and it was the pilot error which caused the engine to stall. The pilot also did not follow the correct procedure to get the plane out of the stall. I heard it in the news on some other youtube vid of this footage.

  • all these comments saying the pilots are to blame, i bet that none of you have ever flown a plane. also just remember people dead in this crash. have some respect.

  • MORAL: You want to be reckless and push your aircraft beyond its limits? Go fly single-seat fighters. Then only one person has to pay for your foolishness.

  • in america plane crashes you

  • how stupit can you be to tip that HUGE thing over?

  • R.I.P all pilots that have gave there lives x

  • @GIXERFEAR

Actually there was only one pilot and he was the asshole who provoked the crash killing the three crew members.

  • I must say, I don't intend to disrespect the pilot or his crew, however that turn was a bit to steep, even more so at that altitude. At least from the average onlooker.

  • Game over

  • This so sad. I feel for he crew and their families.

  • It's interesting to read what people think if they don't actually know anyone on board. I was stationed at Fairchild AFB then and actually witnessed the crash. It waqsn't during an airshow; it was the one of the practice runs for the airshow to be held that upcoming weekend. It was also the hopes the base morale would be helped since the previous Monday (20 Jun 94), Dean Melberg killed 5 & changed lives on, too. Trust me, nobody "had it coming" and all four on board were killed.

  • oh so thats where our tax goes? at least that bomber wont be blowing up our brothers and sisters anymore

  • Maybe im wrong but at 0:24 0:25 0:26 i hear engine stall there is a 3 seconds sound delay (distans of camera) so this "stall" happens same time plane banks hard & gets in a stall Pls bother and download this video and analized it i search the other footage of this crash and has the same sound event too and its not a glitch (old film etc) NO i didnt solve case here maybe pilot corecting thrust but for sure its and odd thing with a +90 deg bank is way to crazy for pilot to reduse thrust
  • @fotistis

Perhaps not too odd, since an aircraft like this is not planned to make such manoeuvres maybe the fuel flooded the engines making them drown.

  • Comment removed

  • Pilot error at its finest.

    • Flaps extended 100%

    • executing manuver which requires around 10,000ft of air. Like @blue46gt said; this guy belongs in a hornet. (or not)

  • Beyond tragic. RIP all who perished.

  • the pilot was a cunt who wanted to be a fighter pilot, the real tradgy is the co-pilot pressed eject but they couldnt get clear of the fireball in time

  • OH! it was the day i born

  • @wit51169 ur the devil

  • imagine that explosion in the WTC's

  • huston we have a problem

  • You don't get any dumber than this. This pilot is not even 750 feet off the ground, piloting the heaviest aircraft in service, and tries to execute a 90 degree flat turn. he deserved it for overjudging his aircraft. only a complete fucking retard would try that

  • They all died. Didnt they? :(

  • @brandonS911 No, they climbed out of the ashes, a couple of cuts and bruises. dusted themselves off and joined the party.

  • This pilot is an idiot he is turning too close to the ground the turn was too much at an angle when u turn a plane, u do it at sixty degrees not ninety and he can do it at ninety if he has enough altitude and also the wieght of the plane is taken into consideration .

  • I love how the plane could be heard still after you could see the fireball cause they were so far away.

If you listen carefully you could hear the pilot screaming even though he is cooked meat. The sound of death.

  • Im not an expert on planes but isnt turning 90 degrees near the ground with a bomber a really stupid idea to attempt.

  • @ishikawa92 you are very correct in your theory, there is no lift while doing 90 degree turns

  • this is tragic

  • Because he was at a 90 degree bank he was not getting any airflow under the wings to give him lift, complete stupidity on the pilots part expecially that low to the ground.

  • that dude on the left was just calmly zooming in without a hitch.

  • ya idk what that pilot was thinking but a dip and so little speed like that is beond me! he basicly majorly screwed up!

  • Crazy to attempt such a tight banking maneuver with a plane of that size!!

  • there was 4 people on the plane and they all died, he was trying to swerve to avoid going into restricted airspace but he banked too much and the plane stalled and crashed

  • @Raiden4418 He was in an airshow at a military base, he had NO restrictions to where he could go... an as for the stall, he never stalled he went over 90 degree bank angle which caused the nose to dip also he had flaps extended by the looks of it 15-25.. which was probably to slow him down in the turn, like GA aircraft do in valleys to turn.

  • No onecould survive the inferno!

  • idiots

  • yea b52s don't have parachutes if they did he might of escaped with severe injury's

  • Pilot knew better. But wanted to show off. Thought he could do it. He was fired for this incident.

  • @rock1020 Fired? Wasn't he killed?

  • @IloveSPIDERZ Actually he was "fired", it started at 0:30.

  • @elebeu Hahahaha I see what you did there. lol

  • Bang and the plane is gone ;)

  • the smoke looked like a nuke went off

  • Kind of obvious that it would crash when it went vertical (side ways).. where would it get LIFT at such slow speeds

  • Ouch!

  • holy fuck!

  • Accident or Suicide?

  • @Laszlo012: Suicide definitely

  • that sucks! the b-52 is a beautiful aircraft

  • is he a live ?

  • @0xyd3

    No he is Dead.

  • @0xyd3

How could anyone survive such a crash? This isn't Lost.

  • Hurry! Check for survivors! Jk, yeah right.

  • no airspeed, no lift, equals crash. glad he's not in the air anymore

  • Unbelievably poor flying. He must have though he was in an f16.

  • I've had nightmares of seeing something like this happen. I feel terrible for those who had to witness it.

  • why would he think that he could fly that low at that angle?

  • It has nothing to do with his training at all. This happened because of his huge ego!

  • I flew B52's in the Vietnam War. This pilot made the turn too sharp & stalled.

  • Poorly Trained It Seems. How Tragic Though.

  • could be sad....

but u dont wanna how many kids the plane has made to orphans

and how many innocent ppl die true it ...

so who cares about the live of few ppl inside of this killingmashine...

specaly USA know how to bomb kids and womans...

so i think there is no shake

maybe its ironic... die in hellfire !?

lucky strike ? yes its toasted

  • Lucky Strike.... Its Toasted ?

  • ugliest bit of flying I've ever witnessed

  • did he died?

  • @melikeagua no shit

  • @openedeyedbeast123, no, you don't get it.

  • @melikeagua lol

  • @melikeagua

uhhhh...yeah, I don't think anyone made it out of that one

  • people death?

  • @TheDdhere well obviously the pilot and crew died did you not see the 50 tons of fuel blow up? they cant eject from the plane its a bomber not a jet fighter

  • @iBuRzT You can eject from a B52 and it has been done, didn't happen here though, although I seem to recall the co-pilot did try to, but I do know noone made it.

  • cowboy !

  • why was he turning so close to the ground

  • "...damnit... and we just put new grass in there last week"

  • ur joke is retarded, probably when u take a plane like that u will ask god to bless u

  • @adrianyxx the commanding officers knew this pilot was dangerous, his fellow crew had reported him as dangerous, and somehow he was allowed to fly anyways, plow several million dollars of my tax money into the ground, and kill a few people while he was at it. i would ask god to 'bless' me by getting rid of people who allow things like this to happen, but god has better things to do apparently.

  • @adrianyxx the commanding officers knew this pilot was dangerous, his fellow crew had reported him as dangerous, and somehow he was allowed to fly anyways, plow several million dollars of my tax money into the ground, and kill a few people while he was at it. i would ask god to 'bless' me by removing from powerful positions the people who allow things like this to happen, but god has better things to do apparently.

  • omg!!!
