  • Wait... is that FWD? Please tell me it's AWD...

  • @ShepperdW its awd

  • niiice, very good man!!

  • I think it will probably do quite well

  • courage,amazing...

    cool liked the cars.

  • Korean cars Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • Cool video, thank you

  • SOOO... Do they make an AWD super fast Veloster for the street? This is all show right? None of this transfers over to production version of the Veloster like the STI or EVO?

  • amazing video! Great stuff! I actualy worked for RED BULL for a Ronnie Reiner Event in Santa Monica. He was doing a record breaking jump. I was one of the videographers on the event...It as really cool stuff!

  • Good luck Maddo!

  • Check out "top gear ken block airfield rallying" video.

  • I tought backflip with a bike is amazing , but with a car ...

  • That Hyundai seems a copy of a Renault Megane Coupe RS

  • @bichoorojo Hyundai does not copy anything from cheap shit French Renault.

  • @jxtsful Calm down man...i dont mind who copied to who, i dont like none of these companies. But if Renault is cheap shit,...what is Hyundai?? lol

  • @bichoorojo Hyundai is the 5th car company on planet earth.. what is Renault? do they even sell those shit in the USA??? LOL

  • @jxtsful So, do you consider a company that sells millions of cars is better than other which sells 10000? So Hyundai is better than Mercedes for example.... well, i would like to see Hyundai winning championships in F1 as Renault has done or selling more cars in sectors way more competitive in matters of fuel prices than USA . Hyundai engines (diesel or gas) can t compare in Europe to Renault's ones.

  • @bichoorojo Just... can't compare a Renault with a Hundai... Why is Hyundai selling more and more in Europe, there is a reason. People are not stupid...

  • @bichoorojo except the Hyundai veloster concept came out before the megane

  • +1 for Robbie Maddison (and for aussies!)

  • A hatch or coupe?

  • Well, hyundai will forever be a hyundai..

You get to buy a car with a considerably high price but what you get afterwards is a car with a plummeting resale value...

    I'm just sayin...

  • @akosiCoco Honda was once like that too back in the 70's and Hyundai is just as reliable as a Honda these days.

I don't know what you consider expensive but the only one that would be considered "high" is the Genesis Sedan. And that was designed to target BMW's 7 series, a $75,000 car. For $50,000.

Everyone's gotta start somewhere. Just sayin...

  • @chaff5 I'd rather start with a honda anyway.. hahaah.. But I'ma give it some time to be better but for now, I'm gonna pass..

I don't know why I said that it was expensive, that's stupid of me... hahah.

  • @akosiCoco Lol I'd go with Nissan myself. 370Z's are just sexy and lets not get started on Skyline GT-R's and the current GTR...

  • @chaff5 Yeah.. Here in the Philippines, you can buy a second hand skyline r32 with the price of a New Hyundai..

If you are buying a Genesis, buy two Mitsubishi Lan Evo VIII's instead...

Still, I can not close my mind to the progress hyundai has made since

  • @akosiCoco In that case it's still a good car, buy it used really cheap and use the extra money for some mods like coilovers, rims, intake, exhuast, ECT You would have a nice little Hyundai lol

  • @mazda6tuner99 well, I'd rather buy an s-chassis.. haha.. But that's not a bad idea though..

I'm not a korea hater, in fact I love the brand samsung... It's just that hyundai still hasn't tickled my motoring senses yet.. hahahaah..

But I always keep an open mind..

  • @akosiCoco check out - hellaflush genesis it should be the first one. Even though it's a hyundia, it's freakin beautiful lol

  • @mazda6tuner99 hellaflush killed it for me.. I'd rather buy a rat... hahahaah..

  • @akosiCoco actually hyundais resale value today is much higher than alot of other brands, hyundai is now right up there now just a step below honda. this is not 1990 anymore.

  • @matrixloader give me more time for it to sink in to me..

  • That is how a rally car ought to sound.

  • Wow! Props to Hyundai!

  • man. i like hyundai. but I HATE when people drive such a racecar and say "the veloster/corvette/mustang/raptor/sti/ectectect is an amazing car to drive" THAT ISNT THE F"ING CAR YOU JUST DROVE YOU DUMB PEACE OF SHIT. if i took a mcdonalds and switched out all the staff for proffesionals, replaced all the equipment with fine chefs, renowed the interior, would you say. MAN THAT WAS A NICE MCDONALDS!.

    - NO YOU WOULDNT. nothing against hyundai, but that WASNT a hyundai

  • @julingy yeah man, I totaly agree. thats just a race-prepped shell :/

  • @julingy ya agreed, all they leave is the shell, and they call it a Hyundai ... fucking hilarious ! :D

  • @julingy your my fucking idoll myyyyyy sonnnn

  • @julingy all car are different xd

  • @julingy ken block and his last sti, he had the stock tune , just changed some parts... well big parts.

  • @julingy Yes I do agree that and the fact is you guys north american gets best price and service but in South Korea, we are boycotting hyundai. In order to make NA price cheap, they used crappy parts to domestic market.

  • @evei0326rjwk really? that is horrible! i cant believe ive never heard this before. you should write into FLD (fast lane daily), its a youtube car program that would love to cover that

  • @julingy Then What should they say?? I just love to drive a Lexus? or a Ford??? your argument is also stupid. Nothing against you...

  • @julingy yep. That's just right.

  • @julingy It still has the same unibody as the actual production car, that's it.

As for the STI and Lancer Evolution, those rally cars have more in common with their road car counterparts than any other modern base-rally cars.

The WRX STI rally car still has the same Symmetrical AWD system as a regular WRX (STI in Group N still retains road-going DCCD), same engine block as JDM STI, and still the same unibody. Of course, the rally car uses significantly improved components than the road car.

  • @julingy I see the stock air vents on the dash, so jokes on you buddy...

  • @julingy It's "PIECE OF SHIT"... On the other hand I agree with you completely.

  • @julingy It may not have anything to do with the road car we will eventually see, but this is still a Hyundai. Just like Ken Block's Fiesta isn't really a Fiesta, but it is still a Ford.

  • @julingy what was it then

  • @NyCFrEsH100. a prepped rally racecar for team hyundai. or i guess you could say " a hyundai volester with 90 thousand dollars in upgrades" ....... but even then, 90k in upgrades nets you a car so disimilar to the original there is no real point in relating the two

  • @julingy Exactly. Same with Renault in Forumula 1. They are nr.1 but that wont make me buy a real renault. French crap. :D

  • @julingy this just makes me want a hyundai now :P

  • @julingy No rally car has production engine and suspension. Get with the program.

  • @julingy I would say its a nice McDonalds because the sign says McDonalds, just like the car insignia says Hyundai. The frame and durability of the original vehicle has a lot to do with how it performs. If this weren't the case these drivers would just have cars built from scratch. I understand where you are coming from but still remains there are many factors involved. Don't get me wrong, I drive a Hyundai Genesis Coupe and removed the badge and people are shocked when I tell them what it is

  • @BLvideoedit they dont build their own because they get money from the company they represent. and taking the chassis and such from another vehicle is cost effective. I have no problem with hyundais and i could name any modern vehicle without its badging just fineI just have a problem with them promoting their vehicle through this one. there is a big difference between this and say subaru/rally association.... there are actually people that grassroots rally wrx's..... noone races velosters

  • @julingy they have no other way really, not only is the Velostar new but Hyundai is new to this scene, they've been making a name for themselves lately and this is just another way to get their name out there. Sure its shameless promotion, but it works. I mean look at Millens Genesis run, its the same idea, but it worked.

  • @BLvideoedit thats true. I may have overreacted lol. I just have a big feeling the voloster is going to disappoint

  • @julingy Dude, you do realise he was talking about the rally car, not the road car, right?

  • hyundai veloster

  • Reminds me of the Renault Megane..

  • @MrMagnificentMedia This is a car Nissan needs to bring to the US.....

  • I just love the way these rally cars sound. It's like there's a bag of loose nuts in their exhaust pipe!

  • i saw him at the twin peaks rallycross race in april? who cares? lol. me. jizz.

  • I love Nickelback!

  • what engine are they running in this Veloster?

  • @xxjdubb93xx it uses a hamster with a wheel which is hyundai's flagship engine

  • @ronmann606 HA!

  • @ronmann606 hamsterTEC?

  • noiceeee :D

  • @slzkilla

    Ay!
