  • Poor Bird :(

  • why do you let him chase the bird?

  • You are so lucky with your beautiful vizsla, my friend. I had mine once, too. Great to read that you guys in America are so happy with them.

    Regards from Hungary,

    Akos

  • We live in Kansas...and so far we've done well on the wild birds! Found several at Cheyenne Bottoms and also Hays!

  • I live in Oakley. November was some of the best hunting I can remember. Birds got scarce in December. Broke a three week dry spell yesterday. My favorite hunting is near Leoti. I have a young female vizsla named Penny and a 12 week old male named Pete. Hunting just started to "click" for Penny this year. Pete will have to wait a year.

  • i live in kansas and we have a vizsla too! we take him pheasant hunting in Anthony in harper county and it is some of the best hunting weve ever done. ive heard cheyenne bottoms is great hunting also. If your dog was is like ours then he was easy to train but an extremely energetic dog which makes it a little hard to deal with. I wouldnt give up my vizsla for any other dog out there they are remarkable dogs.

  • Rodney has lots of natural ability and I walk him every morning in the park. (which is only 1 block from my house)The only time he gets hard to deal with is when he has been able to get outside like rainy/extreme hot days. Then we run him through the house with the lazer light. Check out "Rodney the Vizsla never worries"!

  • So cute, his crying for the birds! =) Very nice; he's like a rock on point.

  • jumping up to up to see were they are ..that is one smart vizsla..

  • Did you train your Vizsla yourself or did you have a trainer do it for you? I had mine pointing as a pup but now he doesnt want to anymore. I guess Ill find out this yr if he remembers, it will be his first time actually hunting

  • I have done all the training for Rodney. He has a lot of natural ability! The first day we brought him home Sept. 1 2007, he pointed a dove wing on a fishin pole for 10 solid minutes! He also recently won a Puppy Stakes part of the Show Me Vizsla Club's Hunting Dog Challenge.

  • I got really scared at around 3:15 into the

clip,I think it was very close, but hopefully

You are better than cheney with that gun.

They are pretty good at footscent,I hear they

use them as rescue dogs in Hungary. Great vizsla.
