  • Where can one find a mp3 of this beautiful sonata?

  • Comment removed

  • A fine performance of a wonderful and too infrequently heard masterpiece. BUT what a pity the superb pianist is hidden behind the violinist!

  • Waaaaa... I love this violin sonata... Nice Ensemble... ^^

  • my fav. of all of Elgar's work

  • Amazing!! The performance is outstanding and flawless!!!

  • ブラボー!!!!

  • rated a 5, love it. thanks for posting it

  • Well done. Only the piano is a bit too loud in some 'forte' passages. But the violinist I like very much his posture especially right hand.

  • very good performance, good energy from all three performers for a piece that demands a lot of interperation at times. Elgar left part blank due to his sporadic dark moments caused by the tipple or two. This would warm his soul. The accent of the C is a little harsh by normal standards however for a couple of students it not too bad.

  • what do yu mean by three performers???

  • I really liked your energy~! Great job and thank you for posting it. I don't think this piece is played enough.

  • I have searched this song. The performance is great!

  • Very good performance. Good feeling.

  • Thank you very much for introducing me to this magnificent piece! You both play very well.

  • Thanks for your very enjoyable performance.

I was introduced to this piece by accident (bought a CD and this was on the "B" side ...) and realized that there's a lot more to Elgar than "Pomp and Circumcision".

  • wow.. i love this performance. I can feel the passion from the violin. Thank you for sharing this

  • very good performance, good energy from both performers for a piece that demands a lot of it

  • I think you do a pretty good job. I would like to see more vibrato on the fourth finger, especially when it's easy to get away with not doing it. I think a more varied vibrato that is wider would give you more expressive possibilities. Good strong playing overall.

  • I'm the pianist, but thanks for the comment

  • Oh, sorry. ha ha. I don't know anything about piano, although I can play "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child.
