I saw Extreme on their debut tour for $5 at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The same First Avenue where Prince did Purple Rain.

Throwing money would've been tacky, but in retrospect, the whole audience should have thrown wadded-up Tens and Twenties at the band... obviously their booking agent didn't have a friggin' clue. Surprise, surprise, the American Recording Industry doesn't recognize talent.
