  • Unfortunately it's not wheelchair accessible...

  • This bus is going to be scrapped soon.

  • @FunkyMark4211 Yeah, replace it with a Scania K230UB! Or a Citaro.

  • molly walked into yishun before!

  • @BlueHyungJoon haha, where did you see it? I know Molly the bus has visited the Ngee Soon East Community Club.

  • Urrm what about the number plate... They never remove the number plate they paint on it then it mean they paint the new number on it or screw larger plate on it?

  • @WorzBila there's an earlier comment (see tintinspartan, 3 years ago) that answered your question about the plate number. cheers

  • very nice

  • Looks so new, when it's actually old (20 years!)

  • o_O it made from Mercedes 0405!

  • did you spray over the windows then?

  • @chueewowee - they looked like decals to me, not sprayed over paint.

  • They are stickers

  • Awesome! Is it still in use? I mean, given how it was two years ago and we have libraries everywhere now.

  • @lacus88 - yes it's still making its rounds to organisations serving kids with disabilities. Also mainstream primary schools, plus community clubs too. There are still pockets of people in Singapore who can't, or choose not to, drop by the public libraries. Plus it's a good reminder to people who have not used the libraries for a long time.

  • great..but whats with the extra attachment on the top of the bus?

  • The aircon unit?

  • molly got come my school before

  • hehe lolz

  • ya i wish i was molly driver when i grow up

  • LOL, depends on whether we'll still have Molly by the time you're old enough to drive :)

  • They moved the emergency exit to the front abit leh. lol. MODIFIED BUSES!

  • Has SMRT donated any buses for such activities?

  • Hi KaiserPCS, if you as asking if SMRT has ever donated buses to similar activities with other organisations, I won't know. As for this project, it's a first for the NLB which means the SBS bus was the first also.

  • Oh, thanks a lot for your information!

  • Hmm... I've seen this Molly Bus at Jurong East library before. It is parked there sometimes.

  • Yes, you're right. It's parked at Jurong Regional Library.

  • there goes another SBS bus

  • LITTLE MOLLY IS SO CUTE! :D

  • is sbst driver driving the molloy bus or the library hire a driver to drive it?

  • Hi Weiding17, the driver was hired by NLB specifically to drive the bus. The plan is for the bus to operate about 5 days a week, and with one day for maintenance.

  • FYI, It's refurbished from a 1991 Mercedes 0405 with Duple Metsec Bodywork.

It evolved from SBS468K, a typical bus serving Ang Mo Kio residents to Molly The Mobile Libary (XD2037B) serving users of the library.

    Thanks for the video.

  • SBS468K was the bus serving routes along AMK n Toa Payoh rite?

  • @tintinspartan This is only DM 0405 REMAINING in SG
