Urrm what about the number plate... They never remove the number plate they paint on it then it mean they paint the new number on it or screw larger plate on it?
@lacus88 - yes it's still making its rounds to organisations serving kids with disabilities. Also mainstream primary schools, plus community clubs too. There are still pockets of people in Singapore who can't, or choose not to, drop by the public libraries. Plus it's a good reminder to people who have not used the libraries for a long time.
Hi KaiserPCS, if you as asking if SMRT has ever donated buses to similar activities with other organisations, I won't know. As for this project, it's a first for the NLB which means the SBS bus was the first also.
Hi Weiding17, the driver was hired by NLB specifically to drive the bus. The plan is for the bus to operate about 5 days a week, and with one day for maintenance.
Unfortunately it's not wheelchair accessible...

FYI, It's refurbished from a 1991 Mercedes 0405 with Duple Metsec Bodywork.
It evolved from SBS468K, a typical bus serving Ang Mo Kio residents to Molly The Mobile Libary (XD2037B) serving users of the library.
Thanks for the video.
