how do you become a tattoo artist?

@XxMalloryKnoxxX you go through hell and back as an apprentice, then if you havent fucked anything up after about 1-3 years your lucky to get to tattoo people for free.

you cant just tattoo becasue you doodled in class, you have to want it so much that your willing to do anything to achieve the goal and you have to show it. get a good portfolio of your artwork together and then go scout shops and see if they need and apprentice or someone to just clean the place up, get your foot in the door.

Trying to do a portrait like this completly free of a liner needle is a challenging task. but when pulled off well makes any pro or ammature do a double take in amazement! I've had the chance to work with amazing artist who pull this off and its a method I'm still pushing to perfect.

Got both your DVDs yesterday and watched them both start to finish. REALLY GOOD and very helpful. With so many people doing jacked up looking portrait work these days,everyone should def get these especially since they cost a fraction of the price of the DVDs put out by other "famous" artists and you get 10xs more out of them.

just watched the alla prima and your video has better production angelo ,he does do a very good job explaining things but the quality of the dvd should be better for the price. helpful tips teaches allot of art technique which is very important. too many kids jump into tattooing with no basic art instruction and end up doing color book tattoos not ART learn to oil paint you wont be sorry and buy Angelos dvd's

i think thats a fair price.. knowledge man. think of paid apprenticeships.. most go for between 4-6 grand. (shop depending)

actually.. since when was anything tattoo releated "cheap"? .. even a decent tattoo mag is like 15 .00 or more where i live.
