  • I really do agree with you. i am a first year diver and trying to learn all the rules but these videos are helping

  • A double bouncer hurdle is accepted but the judges have the ultimate control over whether the double bouncer hurdle will benefit the diver's overall form or not. Personally, I like a good double bounce hurdle if it's done correctly. If done in any odd way, it just resembles a baulk and I would be on the wall with whether I should deduct half a point for it or not. But I also believe the diver should do what they are most comfortable with.

  • omg flawless

  • MIT?

  • is this hurdle legal?

  • @BrianWheeler1 Brian, I am not on any of the rule committees so I cannot address this in official capacity. However I can tell you it is been used at AAU nationals, USA diving nationals,FINA meets and divers who have received high school all aim American awards have used it.

  • @BrianWheeler1 It was illegal but they changed the rules for the 2011-2012 season. So your officially allowed to do a hop hurdle with both feet together but their has to be a 1-legged landing, leading to the end of the board. The hurdle can't be 2 feet together, 2 feet together, dive off board.

Personally, I fine both feet together doesn't look pretty but that's just my opinion.
