  • He was so cute at that time. I love to see him with Mary. LOVE YOU FREDDIE. Since you died I stopped being afraid of death because I hope one day to get to know you in another life. Is it possible?

  • I ♥ Freddie I ♥ Queen I ♥ Budapest

  • Ha, Freddie probably spent more than he earned there... I wonder if they were paid in some Western currency or in forints?

  • @Zuzannaq forinttal fizettek

    they were paid forints

  • @MrMultibeni

I guess Freddie spent all his forints on art and such.

  • Cómo no amar a Freddie carajo!!!!

  • There was nobody like Freddy to control a whole stadium like this. AMAZING !

  • 13 dislikes? mis-hits ?!

  • 2:02 That's what we call "ţuică", an alcoholic drink similar to vodka, with plum flavor; it's good to warm up, Freddie:*

  • @Lauryn1001 yeah but u can do it out of other fruits as well:)it's called brandy and it's not quite similar cuz vodka is made out of cereals like grain and such:)but yeah both go thru the process of fermentation:)

  • @Lauryn1001 yeah, that was "pálinka" which is stronger than vodka.

  • Comment removed

  • "Delicious and strong!" - like Your soul, Freddie...!!! :)

  • I just fell in love with him. Again.

  • interview.. oh dont be ridiculous no lol makes me laugh

  • love it when he smiles, at 2:44.

  • @ 1.07 Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac hanging out with Freddie .

  • Freddie Mercury was a lover of music, especially vocal study (especially the opera singing). In this video, Freddie gives a lesson in vocal technique for thousands of students. Simply amazing!

  • Freddie Mercury era um amante da música, especialmente do estudo vocal (em especial o canto lírico). Nesse video, Freddie dá uma aula de técnica vocal para milhares de alunos. Simplesmente fantástico!

  • @Regina555able

    I believe it is March 6, 1951

  • Born 20 years too late ;-(

  • Miss you Freddie a whole lot ! :(

  • I love seeing Freddie on stage in the empty arena practicing his vocals and then how it transitions to the actual concert and everyone joins in ... sublime moments.

  • ALLO JIM!

  • Yes, I agree. Actually, it reminds me of the funny response Freddie gave in that NME interview. The journalist: "so, where do you see yourself in 5 years time?" Freddie: "Well, darling, if you're going to have a Terrapin pie, you need to place the butter on top, don't you?".

  • Why???? WHY I WAS BORN IN 1993??? :(

  • @LraCroft azert sok all meg elotted! :)

  • We trekked all night on a bus convoy from Belgrade and dealt with those scary Hungarian customs officers to see this show. It was the first time I've gone to Budapest to see a show. July 27, 1986, I was 16. By far, this was the best live show I have ever seen! I miss Freddie so much, every time I hear a Queen song :(

  • Guyz! Does anybody know the date of Mary Austin's birth? I would be happy to know that. Thank you

  • WOOT! In my ancestral homeland!

  • Freddie era um icone, concerteza foi uma das maiores perdas do mundo do rock e da musica, uma lenda que vai durar por gerações, pena que 13 pessoas não tem carater o sufuiciente para saber disso...

  • Only he could wear a yellow joggingsuit in public AND get away with it! Freddie, you're a hero.

  • @tsigaro I heard about that. Cohen can pull off Freddie lookswise but he's got a hard job ahead of him to try and match his performing skills.

  • No one can match Freddie as a frontman. No one could ever command a crowd the way Freddie could.

  • The House of Parliament? Is it for sale? How many bedrooms? :)))

  • this is about the only time the cameras got close up and personel with freddie.

  • why is there no documentary movie of mercury/queen existing?

  • @dokit1 DVD: Lover Of Life, Singer Of Songs (2006) disc 1: The Untold Story; disc 2: Freddie Mercury videoclips

  • Comment removed

  • @dokit1 there is a documentary on queen it is on netflix it is pretty good to

  • Michaeeelllllllllllllllllll

  • Oh and is that the art gallery thing at 0.53?

  • What's that bridge at 0.04? :D

  • @ambie6664 that is the Elizabeth bridge

  • @foldihanna94 Okay, THANKS!!! :D

  • Fabulous...

  • "Do they have enough servants quarters? Ohh not a good thing to say in this country. Sorry i didnt say that" haha i love him, so funny. Mary was so lucky having him as her best friend. God if only we could bring him back.

  • @MsCary84 Lol, I heard that before but I don't get what he means. I don't really know much about Budapest!

  • @ambie6664 ya i dont know much either but i assume they had a slave history, but Freddie would have known about most things because he was a very clever man :)

  • this was on MTV classic today the whole concert and this <3

  • their nonverbal rapport was cute. lol love his relaxed tourist look. just bewildering to see the contrast between his on/off persona. a giant who set standards yet so gracious for people's love?!

  • A földkerekség egyik legnagyobb egyénisége volt ! Isten nyugasztaljon Freddie !

  • @msolcsi Ez így igaz, nagyon pontosan fogalmaztál és pótolhatatlan veszteség....!

    üdv -egy FREDDIE rajongó!

  • Mary and Freddie sharing a special moment. Mary approvingly smiles at Freddie as he sings in Hungarian, and Freddie can't seem to concentrate on the song anymore. There was definitely still something going on between these two loves, and I believe it continued for both Freddie and Mary until the end. The song Love of My Life sums it all up! Freddie knew he could never find that kind of love in any of his other relationships. I'm so happy that Freddie experienced real love.

  • a pálesz azért odavert

  • @stronglite Ja XD

  • Greatest Rock "performer" that ever lived. Bowie, Ozzy and Mr. Grohl come close, but no-one will ever be "that good" again... I miss him so much...

  • i love it when he smiles! hes so handsome....what a talented man!!!!

  • Did that idiot say 'Hello Jim' at 0:20?

    His names JOHN you twat.

  • @oismackhead Maybe its called to Jim Beach- he was the maneger of Queen.......

  • @oismackhead the guy just greeted Jim Beach, their manager (he still is), pretty likely... you twat... :-)

  • ‎"The House of Parliament? Is it for sale? How many bedrooms??"

  • I miss you, Freddy

  • Freddie Mercury makes today's stars seem talentless, shallow and b.o.r.i.n.g.

  • Na, a pálesz! :-D

  • I still adore his face at 2.07 :)))) túl erős a pálinka, Freddie? :D

  • Greatest showman EVER! Miss you so much!

  • Interview?............ Oh, dont be ridiculous. Such a lovely man!

  • 2:17 - 2:35 <3

  • God bless the Queen ! :D

  • Sweet Freddie-in my Country!

  • 1:11 :)

  • Hello great vid I was in Budapest saw Rolling Stones check out site on line viewing europeantourvideos dot com

  • Freddie is so amazing.

    Freddie is so hot.

    Freddie is so talented.

    Freddie is so funny.

    Freddie is so beautiful.

    Freddie is GOD.

  • No, i just listened again, but i think im wrong. Oops

  • "it might be queen, it might be someon else". thats what freddie writes down in the guestbook, and that what made them all laugh.

  • Freddie-THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111

  • :08- I'd recognise Bri's hair anywhere!

  • well he wasnt gay or bi all his life he turned bi or gay around late 70s maybe and who cares freddie is so amazing and u dont need someone to explain it theres proof right in front of ur eyes watch the video

  • @pinky2ify dont assume

  • was he gay or bisexual? i thought he was gay but apparently he also had relationships with women

  • @redheadonfire2 he was gay, that woman on the video is his ex girlfriend and best friend.

  • i wanted that 3:15 to just keep going with that note... GOD <3!!!!!

  • mary was the one person freddie loved and trusted above anybody else, she knew him b4 he was famous so he knew she wasnt a hanger on and she never betrayed him

  • Poor John Deacon. I don't think he was ever able to get over the shock and sadness of Freddie's death. He said he "retired" from music, but I think it was just because he couldn't bear to go on doing it without Freddie. Supposedly he barely speaks to Roger and Brian anymore. I think the memories hurt him too much. It's sad. He and Freddie were extremely close.

  • I agree, I love the way Mary stands by his side as always. I hate to hear the negative press about her stealing away Freddie's riches, etc. He loved her, she loved him, who cares about anything else? Yes, he had men and she had children by other men, but I believe Freddie and Mary were soul mates on some level and thus the reason for him leaving Mary his estate despite her unwillingness. Rest in peace Freddie.

  • @1969Autumn what ever Freddie s reason were, it was HIS RIGHT to leave the majory to Mary, HIS CHOICE to make, not the press, fans, friends or foe s but they are simply jelious it wasnt them. One thing you have to admit Mary has never betrayed Freddie even after all this time, I have to love her for that. I am agreeing with you,

  • Happy Birthday Freddie!!

  • I was trying to hear what Freddie said at 0:26 to make Roger, john and Brian laugh but i just cant make it out, does anyone know what is said?

  • @Carbon657 i cant hear shit :/

  • @Carbon657 I think he says something like " Watch this! What about this? Queen band announced by the Queen of England..." LOL XD

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn lol yes i think its something very like that, im sure if Freddie was alive today he definately would have been knighted by the Queen by now. Sir Freddie Mercury he would have loved that XD

  • @Carbon657 Yes! I believe in that too. The Queen would do that if Freddie was alive. Unfortunately he is not but he could be Sir nowadays even dead if the Queen wanted, there was a woman on my country that was Queen after she died. interesting... why not Freddie?

  • love it love it love it

  • love this clip

  • When Freddie says 'Is it for sale?' it kinda sounds like Zoidberg from futurama :D

    Freddie rulz <3

  • Genio!!! que voz tan grandiosa!!!

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO !!!!!!@@

    REMEMBER FREDDIE.

    FROM BRAZIL.

  • 2:19-2:36 Love it! Don't know why, but just love it :)

  • 2:10 a HP :)))

  • PALINKA!!! IS HARD TO DRINK!

  • it's parlament? is it for sell? how many bedrooms? :D

  • @flmaniac2 nem sell, sale bocsi

  • @flmaniac2 I think he also says something like...what about servents

  • This is awesome! Thanks for posting it!

  • I thought he was a lefty. He writes with his right hand here at 0:25.

  • @Mercury702

    with freddie expect anything

  • @Mercury702 I also thought Mercury was left-handed, but eminem is lefty and he holds his mic in his left hand. Mercury held his mic in his right hand, but it was a curious observation. Probably he could write with both (as I can), but I wonder what his NATURAL hand-dominance was, whether it was right or left. My bet is on left, and that the society made him swtich hands from birth (as with me).

  • @hidetheweeeed I read somewhere Freddie started as a lefty, but his school teachers would oblige him to write with the right hand because in India, people take lefties as Satan´s worshipers or something like that. I think he used and wrote with both hands, there´s a pic of him writing and another one of him holding a fork and he´s using his left hand but he normally used his right, I think.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn where did you read he was a lefty at the beginning??? It interests me a lot !! :D

  • @bobbyland34 I'm so sorry, I believe I've read it in a book where it focused his early years in India, sorry don't know the name and it's been a while since then... =S

  • he had such a great sense of humour.legend can only describe him

  • "Interview? Oh, don't be ridiculous. No."

    LMFAO

  • It's so weird to hear his normal voice, I've only ever heard him singing!

  • so happy and lucky people who see him

  • Why has no one done a film about freddy yet? He was incredibly fascinating and charismtic. x

  • @1985bettyv1 Robert de Niro is making a film about Freddie and Queen, Jhonny Depp will play Freddie =) hope this makes you happy!

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn re: film about Freddie; last I read anything about that was 3-4 years ago and it appears the idea might have been shelved...

  • @etolpygo Yeah,I´ve heard rumours about that film since 2007 and it seems that the project is stopped but Brian May came up talking about te film last year.., i hope they will do it because it is a shame not making a film about Freddie and Queen.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn There's a whole concert movie film made in Budapest Hungary. This is a clip from it. And this is their best live video and film, directed and filmed by Hungarians.

  • @PIPIPISTA Thanks for the info but I was talking about Queen´s biopic. BTW IT IS CONFIRMED NOW. QUEEN´S BIOPIC NEXT YEAR. BORAT AS FREDDIE. JAMES MCAVOY AS DEAKY. HUGH DANCY AS ROGER. RHYS IFANS AS BRIAN. Terrible terrible choices.

Btw, you lucky hungarians... where can I find that film made in Busapest?

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn What, so it is definatly going through?

  • @ambie6664 yeah, I believe so, but we´ll have to wait a few years XD again

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn thats fab !! cant wait !!

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn with all due respect to the actors of today...how in the hell can ANYONE play Freddie and make it remotely like him, I mean REALLY

  • @MsLadyRobin I agree! Borat is just stupid...

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn You forget that he actually CAN sing, and he is a good actor. Haven't you seen Sweeney Todd?

  • @TehKhalidah yes i´ve seen but sorry, he is not in the same level as Freddie. He does not look like him, he does not sing like him and he is too stupid and a comedian. Johnny Depp should play Freddie not Borat. In my opinion

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn I have a funny feeling Queen fans will be surprised, in a good way. I think you're playing favorites. I'm not Sacha's biggest fan but I have faith that he will do a great job portraying Freddie.

  • @TehKhalidah I really really really really hope you´re right. But i just can´t stand him.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn I can't stand Borat either, but I do think Cohen might do a great job as Freddie. I doubt they will have him sing in the film. It's likely they will dub Freddie's voice in, and have him lip sync. That's what I think they should do as no one can imitate Freddie's vocals properly. They were too unique. Again, I think if Cohen sticks to acting on this movie and doesn't try to imitate Freddie's singing voice then he might surprise people with his performance.

  • @Cathie8791 Last summer I heard that Johnny Deep was going too play Freddie in a movie. Um...that Borat guy is not gorgeous like Freddie. I mean Freddie's Freddie. I hope he does a good job. IDK, time will tell.

P.S. Who are they going too get to play Mary since Mary is part of Queen and Freddie. Wonder will they ask Lady gaga. hehe! Don't get mad at me guys and dolls, I'm just kidding about the gaga thing. hehe!

  • @CPrincessC I don´t think someone will play Mary since it´s a movie about Queen´s proffesional life, not personal xD I got pretty mad when I heard Borat was going to play Freddie, He is not as beautiful as Freddie and he is not a serious actor, besides he is much taller than Freddie, even taller than Brian!

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Thankfully it is not about Freddie's personal life and thank you for telling me. I mean when I heard about it, I was very worried. I mean I'm over protective of him even if I'm just a young person, I don't want anyone to say bad things about him. And I knew Mary would never reveal anything about her and Freddie's personal life for a movie. Thank you Jumpy for letting me know. hehe!

P.S. I agree, Borat is nothing like Freddie. Freddie is~was gorgeous. A sexy queen for sure.

  • what year was this???

  • @JordanVANNA 1986, late July.

  • @Starful21

    Damn.

so he probally had AIDS in this and did not know it, nice Nichola Grishanovich tested HIV positive in 1984. Freddie could have had HIV in 1983,

so by the time of this video, in 1986, the disease had progressed quite a bit...wow.

  • @JordanVANNA By all accounts, Freddie was diagnosed early in 1987... And God only knows when and where he'd got infected...
