I put it on the back of the neck because the bass is quite (a lot!) unbalanced with the standard strap position.That's because of the original (sexy) body-shape.

Great work. I have an old 7" single of this. On the run out groove it says "You've got to hand it to Bruce" - which is a reference to Bruce Thomas, the bass player from The Attractions - who originated this bass line.
