nice line, but it's not Bruce Thomas's line. You're throwing in a bunch of different notes that he didn't play in the original. Nothing wrong with that, but you should say so.
I put it on the back of the neck because the bass is quite (a lot!) unbalanced with the standard strap position. That's because of the original (sexy) body-shape.
lol i would also put it there unless i change the postition of the one at the bottom maybe it would work but yeah tis bass has a (sexy) shape to it i agree lol cant wait to see more vids of you and that t bird rock on
@glenmatlock94 : currently, I have some QOTSA song waiting to be recorded, but probably not with the T-Bird, as I'm selling all my stuff (and saving money) to get brand new gear in September 2010.
Great work. I have an old 7" single of this. On the run out groove it says "You've got to hand it to Bruce" - which is a reference to Bruce Thomas, the bass player from The Attractions - who originated this bass line.
Wow, you're awesome! This song has a very groovy bassline :D I thought I found it familiar but that's because it was from Voodoo Child by Rogue Traders which Elvis lent them his bassline form this song.
could you send me the sheet music for this
i need to practice this song for an interview haha

all of the of the Elvis bass lines are great.
if you like this one, you might want to try "don't wanna go to Chelsea" or "Oliver's army"
those are classics
