8 year olds shouldnt play pieces like Haydn Divertimento C Major Sonata. It Will strike back when shes older. The mistakes that she learned in bigger pieces will show again.
@konzolmester That is horrible, how could you say that? Obviously this person tried very hard to learn this piece. With a good instructor his mistakes should be corrected and maybe the stregth in the fingers isn't exactly strong enough yet, but other than that he sould be fine!!!!
@daytonmlivingston When I wrote that comment 2 years ago what I meant is that there are certain pieces a little musician simply cant play. No matter how agile the hand is. The fruite must be ripe! It was just an advice manny cant understand but less treasures it. The child should get an european or russian teacher/master. My teachers saying is always "Master only a piece that you are able to make it shine like a dimond,other acts are useless against competition"
