hmm, just for clarification (yes I see how "meaningless notions" may have been harsh) perhaps I have failed to explain myself well. I simply I don't get a message from the collection of film clips and music/voice so it is meaningless to me. I could not decifer most of the words and I have not seen any of the films the images appear to come from. I am basically at a loss to understand.

I like the editing, and the sound (and together they remind me of Skinny Puppy videos). I can't say I see a message though. I assume there is one

Well, you've stumped me! You say in your note that this may appear as random... and yes it does!

You also ask us to reference our own perception. This would be mine: A collection of meaningless notions.

There are strange stories that people tell each other represented here (ie: meeting aliens, finding a monster under a human face). It is not clear if you are implying that we should put more stock in these stories or that we do and should not.

Meaningless! You bought the party line. Shame. Are you relying on your own perception? It may be impossible to have a direct perception of some of the things I am talking about here, but the gravity of the possibilities they entail should make it obvious they deserve more personal attention then most people are willing to give them.

Its really easy to go to sleep at night telling yourself you know it all.

Hard to admit there might be Others who may regard you as nothing more than a... sheep.

You made an awfully quick jump from what is given in the comment and your judgement about "telling yourself you know it all" and the commenter being a "sheep."

PureWinters does use "meaningless notions" which is a tad harsh, but I do believe he or she is at least making an effort to understand something of your intent, judging by PW's last comment. But instead of assisting - for example affirming or denying the last dichotomy in PW's comment - you jump to fairly cliche accusations. Why?

Yes, it was a fairly knee jerk reply on my part, but I don't like the dichotomy because it implies that we can either accept or deny the whole shebang, and things are obviously more complex then that- *this particular* body of discourse deserves more, due to the import of what it may mean (just as with questions about God or faith.)

I will not come right out and say what my message is- just see how the lyrics go with the images and what images i.e. who or what do we treat as pestilence and how?

PS, I really don't want to get into a debate here; I have done something I am proud of, and that I am sure says what I mean for it to. I am trying to leave it up to people to choose how they relate to it, and in the end, I know that will be for the best.
