For some reason i got 3 skins but when i tryed doing a fourth it wont let me into l4d i did backup the files so when i change it back it lets me in. I know its not the skin cause i tryed other ones and it did the same thing. Have i Reached the limit or something? If you know why that would be great.

Skins are only able to be on PC versions of games. Not consoles. This is because there is no way to port them unless you are microsoft. Sorry.

Needed to edit the files because they are a special file type and regular notepad cant edit them properly.

You need to have Notepad ++, then u can play with skins online... thats wat the fpsbanana comunity ppl said so. And yeah, using the notepad++ method, its WAY easier, trust me XD

ppl, there is a much easiear way to backup the file. Just make a folder in skins called default. Put the default skin in that folder u wish to "replace". You can also make a folder for your skins u wanna keep.

download steam and left 4 dead should automatically import into it. Then follow the steps

You could trying going Program Files > Left 4 Dead > Then look for the Pak01_dir.vpk and also the materials folder. The proceed by following the video.

If you cant find those then its not possible. But they probably should be there.
