Next time I go out I'll be posting film of long range shots from 400m (~1/4 mile) and 860m (~1/2 miles). I'll also get film of quick bolt work and I'll get film of the target as well. I didn't think of it for this video because the monitor was already shot up and you wouldn't be able to tell which shots I made.
why do you take the gun down for reloading? stay at shoulder reload and become faster....

Wow, that's probably the fastest I've seen someone work the bolt on a 98k. How do you do it?
I've watched this video at least a dozen times looking seam in the skin for a mechanical arm/hand, but I can't find one.

In World War 2 German soldiers did it twice as fast as this.

I have the whole flecktarn basic infantry kit. I've also got an entire German 1940-43 style Waffen-SS Aufklarungs impression.

Does your K98' finish wear off on the bolt part pretty quickly?
I got a 'line' looking wear on top of my bolt...
Does yours do that?
ar15ian 4 years ago
Its actually been worn for quite some time. Its an original 1940 non-capture...
MarkWilhelmsson 4 years ago
I'm not even sure about that. I could have done it though, haha..
