@ShriVishnuMandirJcNj No, that would take up some of your pedaling power, which people do not like when they try it. There are systems where your pedaling does not move the bike at all, it just charges the battery. This is not like that. If there is a problem with you motor system, you can still pedal the bike home this way.
In the situation where the throttle is interfering with the shifter and brake why dont you place the actual throttle on the other end of the handlebar?
Not sure what you mean. There is a brake and shifter on each side of the handlebar on this bike. It is not comfortable on the end of the handlebar. There are probably other options to setting up the throttle.
@ComCycleUSA Sorry I meant you have your shifter, brake and throttle on your right hand and a brake on your left hand but you said there is a space needed between the shifter and throttle so they font interfere with each other. My question was why not just move the throttle to the left hand or the shifter to the left hand and keep the other on the right giving you more room and less problem with reaching it?
This bike is excellent Torque, It's hard to tell but I am going uphill and it's a big slope... Everyone on a regular bicycle was walking the hill.
The motor sound attracts attention.
The Go-Cycle is fabricated from Magnesium, It can also fold up into a Bag, or Hard shell carry case. Takes me a few minutes to do. I'm sure with practice it will eventually be quicker
That would be neat if it recharges while peddling...

When shifting do you need to be pedaling, pulling on the throttle, or you dont have to do either and you can simply just shift gears?

@WhoTubeProductions You need to be pedaling, it shifts like a regular geared bike.

in need one of these to overcome high wind speeds (like 20-30mph) on the Sussex coast

@fairyheli2 It is good for that, but strong headwinds will reduce your range, just like it does with any kind of motor.
