It's funny how you only learn to appreciate certain things in life when you get older , such is the case of this song , i've always liked it , but never really payed atention to the lyrics , and man .... they are fine ...!!!!

Something for everyone but all great and all very talented. The 70's.

Seals And Croifts is one awesome group. It's because of them being Bahai's that I too found my way on the Bahai' path. I owe it all to them. I love you guys so much. Your music is so uplifting.

I sincerely apologize for posting obscenities on your beautiful tribute to Seals & Crofts. But some of these punks who post negative stuff just invite a written beatdown (in lieu the physical one their fathers never gave them). Please delete my last post at your convenience. Thanks.
Reminds me of meeting my wife-to-be on the Pacific island of Saipan in early 1974. I had just arrived as a Peace Corps volunteer trainee when I first saw her. A stunning island beauty who stole my heart away in a place of eternal summer breezes. We're still married and I still sing this song to her.
I guess that's the in thing among the younger crowd. If you don't like what somebody says, accuse them of being gay. In my day, you would have gotten your sissy ass kicked, punk, and went running to your mamma. Sorry motherf**ker...
Well, life as the human mind understands it, is a double-edged sword.
To explain your statement from it's roots:
The way the mind works is by collecting information and knowing 'truths' by what happens most often in specific situations. A good feeling is received from new information or pleasurable experiences. When the mind doesn't explain a kiss before it happens, more new information is received and the mind rewards the body.
The populous is developing into a relaxed environment in which more individuals are becoming understanding of events and situations. With technology advancing, we see the world from more perspectives and are able to cope with new things easier. Though, the mind builds a base information on which it develops sanity, or an ability to keep stable in a social environment.
If you really believe in your religion, you should watch The Naked Truth on google video. It should help you make your final decision for the time being.
That base isn't always correct, though. So as someone who has understood it from a different experience and understanding, it is hard for them to be comfortable with certain new things.
Sorry for the long reply. I just want people to understand. I am unfortunately one of the few throughout my travels.
Someone who was very special to me in my younger years said this song reminded him of a time many summers ago. A time when memories were made that would stay with us all forever.
I feel so contrite when i listen to this song... I remember about so much love my aunt have for me since I was a little baby... She liked to sing to me this music... =o)Beautiful song!
Same here, I see the Soft Rock collection from Time Life almost every night on tv, introduced by and Austrailian man and a European man. They say the hits are hard to find, which is true but if you have satellite; the timeless hits are playing all the time. You are not likely to hear the good stuff on today's garbage stations.
this is my aunts favorite song. she died 4th of July weekend this year of Huningtons. Whenever i hear this song i think of the good days when i go to my uncles and aunts house when we have a family get together. i miss her so much :(
i like listening too this song, when im sitting outside in a rainy day, under a canopy - having the wind blow threw my hair.. and breeze nipping my face.. lovely song, will always be cherished..
I love this song. Really reminds me of my childhood. I remember listening to this song on the radio when my mom picked me up from summer camp. We would go shopping or to dinner with my dad afterwards. I also remember my dad throwing a barbecue party at our home and I would run around the yard...I can still smell the fresh cut grass and the delicious food that was prepared by my parents....aahh..childhood...the innocense, carefree days...this song paints my childhood for me....summer of 1978.
This song is great!!! I always think of the movie "Dazed and Confused" haha! OMG there were SOOOO many hot, long haired guys in that movie wow! Wiley Wiggins... oh man. haha
This tune makes me weep. I think of playing on the shag carpet while my ma was ironing clothes, watching General Hospital, and my pop coming home from work with his sweet-ass sideburns and leisure suit.
Not only that, but the best movies. Star-Wars, The Godfather, The French Connection, Jaws, The Excorsist. And Tv shows! All in the Family, M.A.S.H., Battlestar Galactica, Sanford and Son, Good Times. The 70's rocked!
That's because people don't know what good music is. Rap and hiphop is NOT music. I was born in the early 80's. I would never like today's garbage if they paid me to.
I was born in 1980 and I gotta defend Hip-Hop. RAP sucks, but hip hop is always good: Common, Talib Kweli, The Roots... Great music. Soulja-Boy and the like are CRAP. Hip-Hop is MUSIC with a message whereas RAP is just about money and "bitches"
it is interesting to see the comments below so I can say that despite We live in different countries and continents this music brings to us the same fellings...maybe this time will not came back but I will have it in my mind...it is magic...
I guess you don't remember a guy named Nixon? The crap we're dealing with now is Republican revenge for ousting him. I wish we had politicians who gave a crap about the Constitution like we had in the 70s.
this is a really great song!! it reminds me of those breezy summer days at the farmhouse in the countryside I use to live in when I was little *sniffle*. Good times, good times!!
love these guys for writing such a magnificent song, but the main ingredient are really the ones that made it magical for me.

I guess you don't remember a guy named Nixon? The crap we're dealing with now is Republican revenge for ousting him. I wish we had politicians who gave a crap about the Constitution like we had in the 70s.

Reminds me of the 70s. Camp on Little Lake Sunapee in NH. Man I miss that.

this is a really great song!! it reminds me of those breezy summer days at the farmhouse in the countryside I use to live in when I was little *sniffle*. Good times, good times!!

weird, i think this song is more of an early fall song when the days start to get shorter but you can still be outside comfortably.

The Month of July is mentioned in the song. I guess July could be "early fall". But it would be very very early fall.
