I've been using this laptop for the past 3 weeks without a battery. However , every time I turn it on, the date and time are resetting to factory settings !!

Is this because I am using it without the laptop battery? Or is it a prob with the CMOS battery? this has been happening only when I started using the laptop without the battery. So, What should I do now? I would be extremely thankful if you can help.

Prior to this, the best deal on a BLU RAY notebook with HDMI was the MSI A6000-030US for $499 at Frys Electronics. It was on sale on Black Friday and New Year's Day. It has a T6600 CPU, HDMI, BLU RAY, 320GIG, Webcam. The major difference here is the CPUY generation and the memory speed (533 vs1066).

Even if the CPU in this Gateway was i3 instead of i5, it's the deal of the year. Some people think that even when Black Friday 2010 arrives, this deal can't be beat.

I accidentally stumbled on this computer at the Best Buy. I thought it was an i3, I didn't see the sd post till after I got it.

I was telling my friend some specs, and I opened dxdiag to see, cause I forgot, and noticed it was an i5

I love my life.

Anyone wanting to buy them, you may be outta luck, cause the person behind me in line had the same thing in her hands. Lol.

It is a great computer and I strongly reccomend it. It runs TF2 like my desktop, 40 fps.
