Who ever said it was too slow is just an idiot! This recording is amazing and the tempo was done slower in the middle I think because when it is her solo it really pulls it all together. AWESOME JOB!!!

Something is wrong with your soundtrack--the pitch is a quarter tone flat. Thats why there are so many complaints about it being slow--the tracking is off. Thanks for posting, but if you have perfect pitch this is a little painful to listen to.

@qyzuf - I agree with you! This is THE most sublime version of a sublime piece of music but, for some reason, the recording is slower than it actually should be.

@Addiobelpassato - something wrong with your transfer because this, whilst beautiful, is slower than both my cd and my lp of tha same recording!!

@qyzuf think of it as the pace that a river as ancient and majestic as the Danube might take. Both the Danube, and this piece have its own interpretations of time, and each can (and should) take as much time as it needs to realize it's own majestic fullness. Remember, these are solemn whispers breathed to God...they can't be rushed.
