i had this on nes and you could play with one controller. the game wasn't much fun though i prefer the arcade or snes

@iamlaos you can use controler one to move and controler two to shoot, or you can use two controlers and play coop but only shoot infront of your guy.

You could play this with one controller, it just wasn't as fun as the arcade style controller. The original arcade game had two joysticks. I loved this game.

cool! in 2002 i played a game that i now know is a clone of this game... although i can't remember what its called :((( it was for pc and had very polished graphics. (geometry wars doesn't deserve its success!)
