can u show me how to install other programs in wine. such as itunes because i dont know how. if u could just show me how to do it it would be very appreciated.
Can't you just dual-boot OS X or whatever and Fedora 9, and then use like, Parallels or something? I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 on a PC and running XP inside VirtualBox on it.
Yes Office 97 to 2007 works, we have a front end at bordeauxgroup(dot)com it supports office and some other apps. version 2 will support more apps and games on Linux and BSD.
Have you done anything else previously worth telling?
:D
click on (more) "About this video" and you can go to my blog and see if ive done anything else... there are 11 other videos here as well.. most of them benchmarks on Wine, and Directx 9

How do you install WINE on fedora 9 Power PC?
nWoSnake2 3 years ago
You don't, wine needs an x86 compabile CPU in order to decode windows programs. You'll need to emulate x86 in order for it to work.

Hi, very nice video! - It gives me hope taht I will install Linux on my laptop one day to use it in every day use.
What I would recommend thoug would be some good quality Audio commentary in the video about what you're doing and typing into the console.
