@Christoph3D Maybe you should look into the bands you decide to bash. MxPxs guitarist does that not only to this song, but even their other songs in order to add their own style to it. It's like saying that an artist who takes a rap song and changes it to rock is a horrible musician and shouldn't play anymore cuz he didn't keep to the original song. Where's the fun of covers if you aren't allowed to have a creative licence.

@RaichuForever1 I wasn't "bashing" MxPx, I just didn't like this particular song, despite all the praises from all the fans, that's all.

And the reason I critiqued the guitar is because CLEARLY when he goes back into playing the guitar riff that resembles the original's keyboard, at the beginning he misses notes that he doesn't anymore later on. It sounds like he was surprised that it's his turn to play again, which shouldn't happen with a band as established as MxPx, just saying.

Ok to say that no punk singer has a great voice is really a bit too much but yeah... The point of REAL punk is not in the vocal range or tone. Funny really.
