  • wtf.. This is like those instructions the give you when you are on a plane

  • Its always good to be suspicious of claims made by these glove companies. If you are really into gloves, check out Keeper Glove Insiders. This guy is independent and unbelievably technical.

  • actually the ball reaches your wrist lots of times .. specially when catching low balls !

  • AdidaS ALL day i dream about sex

  • assxaasdasdad

  • THOSE R FANTASTIC -_- THUMBS UP if u think like me:)

  • @0xpvp0wn3r failed

  • Haha yh i know, the germans wouldn't be impressed with the americans poor proanounciation (long word)

  • i love i !t

  • best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im sorry,

but the italian made puma, copy the following, Puma v-Konstrukt 2009 Torwart Handschuhe ( Gigi Buffon Glove) .

trust me these are the BEST gloves in the universe

  • @chainsawsandgeorge i have the adidas fs cup durable carbon, they have a foam thumb, and a foam patch on the out side of the palm with the all carbon palm/fingers.. it does make it somewhat of an awkward feel when catching the ball.

  • the reason that adidas is extending the palm is for when you throw the ball out. The review mad here shows the extended palm with a different purpose. @idontlikemakingthis you have a good point with punching the ball. most of the focus should be on the palm latex

  • I never had the ball come into contact with my wrist

  • Women should just stay in the kitchen, not comment on these vids

  • yeah sure, im gonna buy this glove to punch a soccerball and to catch it with my wrist, wtf i cant even do it on my own and u expect me to catch a hard shot with my wrist.... Adidas are dipshits, even though i like theyre shoes and balls

  • punching isnt that important for goalkeepers you stupid yanks

  • its the best golkeeper glove in the world i am sure

  • dont use those gloves they rip really easly and arent very good quality use nike gun cut or nike total confidence gloves

  • Get your facts right, these gloves have superb quality although the durability is not the best.

  • yeah @iTzexZACKly i got these on the 48 hour sale too but they were the new ones they are so comfy

  • yeah these are sick but the extended grip and punching zone is unusfull

  • i just got these today when eurosport was having their 48hr sale. These gloves are really sick but idk what these things are that came in an adidas pouch thing. Can someone tell me what they are? They are red flexy things.

  • they are the finger saves that you put into the glove haha

  • its finger savers

  • @ iTzexZACKly the red flexy things are your spines

resuch invented them, they go in the back of the glove

the bend forward, but not back, which helps make your hands not break and helps you hit balls over the top with your fingers, if you need that extra little bit

i think they are at least, its what it sounds like

  • watching this video, it looks like adidas has 0 understand of the goalie position. Two things I had the biggest problem with.

1, why spend so much money and time developing and advertising something that helps you punch the ball, when that is probably the least used technique in the position

    2. why "extend" the catching surface to the wrists, when the ball should never come in contact with the wrists in the first place?

adidas needs to pay better attention to the position

  • What are you talking about, all this features appeared a loooong time ago in goalkeeping gloves. And adidas didn't invented them, go and check uhlsport, or reusch (top line goalkeeping gloves developers) and you'll notice their most professional models features this improvements, and a long time back. (And yes, punching the ball is pretty useful sometimes, and you need to protect your fingers from twisting backwards)

  • i know addidas didn't event them, i just don't understand why they focus half of the video on punching a ball, when that is the least used technique. On a busy game i might punch to balls, the rest i catch or don't go for

and I have some reusch gloves, top of the line glove, i was looking around before buying

to my knowledge, reusch invented the goalie glove, and finger support, or in their gloves, "ortho tec"

i have the raptor pro G!'s with ortho tec, and they're great

  • @idontlikemakingthis I agree 100% i use these gloves, and i dont think i have ever used my wrists in the last...13 years.

  • @ Funsunday12 I don't see the point with the wrist, don't be stupid, and make a good catch in the first place, it won't come to your wrists. The only time a ball has been that low was when i screwed up a smother dive during practice, and i've never had to smother dive in a game, i just get my body over the ball as quickly as i can

  • that is so true they say so much shit on eurosport to sell

  • @idontlikemakingthis punching is used in emergency situations, the extended surface is very important. Look at your worn out gloves. The fingertips and the bottom of your palm is very worn out. BOTTOM OF YOUR PALM. You dont realize it, but you really do use your wrists sometimes.!!!

  • @futureworldkeeper the bottom of my palm, is not my wrist. They show the "extended catching surface" as the wrist band, the ball isn't touching my wrist band. The damage on the bottom of the palm is from strikers slide-tackling for a ball into my hands and from diving, not from improper catching technique

  • @idontlikemakingthis Are you saying that you catch the ball perfectly in your palms/fingers every time? and you never have to punch the ball to safety because you can jump as high as professionals and therefore can catch the ball from crosses every time? If so than it shouldn't matter what gloves you get, you could easily make chelsea or manchester united with a pair of 10 dollar gloves. Because you are a keeper god among us mere mortals, could i get your autograph?

  • @lukeolmstead22 I am not saying that. I make sure that if I am not going to catch a ball perfectly in my hands, i will bounce it off the ground and then make the proper catch like professionals do when a ball is too hard to catch but not too hard to have to deflect away in front of them. Also, I never said that I don't ever have to punch it out and that I instead catch it, I was saying that the last thing I'm worrying about in a game is if a clearance on my punching goes 1 yard further

  • @idontlikemakingthis oh and p.s: when you throw the ball out, you are supposed to cup the ball with your hand and wrist. but of course you already knew that because you pay such close attention to the position.

  • @lukeolmstead22 and p.s: they advertise the wrist as "extended catching surface", not "aiding in overhead distribution"

  • @idontlikemakingthis hey dude i agree with both 1 & 2 but only 50% i mean y waist so much $ on punching power agreed 100% but can be use full... and that grip on the wrist can help a keeper alot well like shit happends he could have missed up on a catch but ull never know that wrist grip could have saved his ass from a goal it could happend to u too?.... just saying bro

  • @chivasfan211221 shit does happen, but if adidas COULD just make the foam on the palm good enough that if a ball touches it, its not going anywhere, and instead of advertising about how the gloves help in low percentage situations, they can brag about how nice the gloves are when you're getting shelled

  • @idontlikemakingthis what do you want them to do? put pine tar on the palms? i dont think foam can get much stickier than what they got on gloves these days...

  • @xstrikethreex What I really what them to do is stop making gloves

they're a great company and I just think that they tried to extend their market too far with gloves

  • @idontlikemakingthis i think they made the part on the wrist because if the shot to hard and it passes though your hands the wrist part backs it u[

  • @idontlikemakingthis 1. not true. punching the ball is really useful in corner kicks and free kicks.

    2. the wrist extension is probablywhen you hug the ball and bring it up to your chest.

    3. adidas makes really good gloves. not as good as other brands like reusch uhlsport and maybe nike. but they have excellent grip for a while. petr cech uses adidas for a reason.

  • @lastofmykind8 I'm not saying punching isn't useful, I'm saying if the only thing you can say thats good about your ball is that it can punch far, there are plenty other important things you missed out on. Strong foam reinforced well, having a cut that fits the ball well, there are other things I'm more worried about then when I punch a ball.

  • @idontlikemakingthis thats true...i mean i have the adidas repliques and theyre pretty good for the price, they were like 60 dollars. theey have good grip and finger protection and cool design but after two months its starting to tear a little. nothing major but noticeable. they definitely need to work on durability.

  • @idontlikemakingthis I disagree. these are the best gloves ive ever owned, over reusch and nike. (although nike doesnt support the fingersave feature, which sucks) but I punch the ball quite a few times throughout the game and the padding on the wrist helps you throw so the ball doesnt slip out of your hands when its being cradled by your hand and forearm area. i just ordered the new ones too, theyll be here in a week or so. just my opinion tho

  • @idontlikemakingthis you're a faggot you know it?! You lie just to get thumb ups, that is disgusting dude, I have these gloves why the fuck I won't comment here critics such as yours and say adidas they made a shitty not good concept of gloves why?! FS ULTIMATE is the best grip gloves adidas ever made, you faggot if you would wear them then you'd know, no ball can slip through this gloves.. shame on you you faggot criticizer!

  • @hekichezzzz I'll try to keep my sexual orientation in mind next time I say my opinion on a product.

  • @idontlikemakingthis lol sorry ok, it's my fault I was too harsh, sorry:)

but well they aren't that bad you're saying they have extremely great grip, the best loves I ever worn.. :)

  • @hekichezzzz I've tried adidas gloves before, wasn't impressed. They weren't these ones, but they had the fingersave in them and it was weak, I much prefer the Ortho-tec in Reusch gloves, but I'm a bit of a Reusch fanboy, so I'll say pretty much anything good about their gloves. Adidas is a good company though, and I have an adidas kit for my games

  • @idontlikemakingthis GREAT:D.. the new one Adidas Response Allround these are the best really, Van Der Saar has them and Manuel Neuer too, these are just perfect, I worn them 1 time no chance the ball to slip away xD.. you can try them xD

  • @idontlikemakingthis The funny thing is that those things you sum up are just extra's. The stuuf you expect the gloves should have aren't advertised, because it's normal aa glove has all the basics.

  • @idontlikemakingthis

    1. just the fact that there's put some technology into punching doesnt mean it's made for punching and not catching. there are no keepers who never punch a ball!

    2. then explain why some of the pro keepers choose for an SMU with an extended palm.

  • i love adidas gloves though. those are the only gloves i use. there expensive but awesome. there like $135- 150

  • adidas rip easy

  • how much does it cost?

  • who punches the ball????

i use the bottom part of the fist, the pinky and side of your hand :)

  • i punch the ball when I'm not that confident in catching the ball in crosses or situation calls

  • i only use reusch glove i love them

  • those spines wont help. if a shot came to u and u had those spines they wouldnt make a difference

  • tbh yea they do hell of alot the number of times ive dived and just got a finger to it and cleared it cuz the when u strech the finger saves stayes strong and straight and the power of the shot whont go through your fingers

  • wtf is up with those spines they dont help at all their to flexible

  • on the contraty, they are not flexible enough...

  • Puma v-konstrukt(2009) is much much better than any Adidas gloves. That's a fact!!

  • A-DEE-DAS wtf is that? :L

It's A-DI-DAS. Thats the trouble with getting women to do the commentary...

  • @ozzyboii it isn't just women it's how americans pronounce adidas

  • @ozzyboii

are you saying you'd pronounce it "a-die-das"..?

  • @19ForzaFCK92 No, ad-id-as u fool

  • @dragonfire1505

    1) no one asked you so stfu, you fuckin cunt.

    2.a) ozzyboii said "a-di-das",

    2.b) you say "ad-id-as" ...

2.c) meaning you dont agree with him.

    3.a) i didnt say i'd say "a-die-das",

3.b) i said it looks like OZZY would say that.

    5) pay attention next time, you god damn idiot.

  • Are these gloves better than the other adidas FS wet grip glove??

  • ive got them and there sick

  • excellent desing

  • SICK

  • adidas has always been my favorite. used umbro, lotto, nike (worst), reusch, puma and WGK but adidas is my favorite...although WGK were amazing in wet conditions they were horrible dry. but the new fs series are ugly every one of these pairs are ugly looking...next im going to try Selsport. and i absolutely love the adidas roll finger gloves.

  • back in '04 they had the blue and black ones that Kahn wore which are my all-time favorite and then they had the blue and whites that Pepe Reina wore....i love roll-finger gloves just amazing.

  • Theyr a nice glove. But i use NIKE as i wear the T90's, $320 reals.
