I love the Parker Navarro is rocking. Awesome guitar - awesome guitar. With the exception of "Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik" "One Hot Minuite" may be their best album. Navarro and Flea were great together (also on "Further Down the Spiral" and Alanis Morsette's Jagged little pill - they were every where together for a while.

@kharlos84 maybe a different touring style? I don't think them changing there sound live means dave is a worse musician... the fact they used backup singers and other guitars could also point to the fact the guitar is under the bass and subtly and complexly well done unlike John's over the top improvised wailing's. I'm a huge frusc fan, but having a different style on tour by using these extra people doesdn't make him (navarro) any less complete of a musician

One Hot Minute was their best album although Navarro wasn't a funk guitarist at all and i think he didn't even like funk.

@biftek354 i personally think its ridiculous to say that it is one of their better albums. navarro is good but come on....all of the four guys thought that it was a bad fit and only a mediocre album and i think its better that mediocre but still not their best by any means. its in the top five in my opinion. (it grabs spot number five)

Navarro was a pretty competent guitar player. His solos were interesting, and this song is certainly melodic. This is sandwiched inbetween their two biggest albums - Blood Sugar and Californication. I like all RHCP material but I think One Hot MInute, and Navarro, stand up well to their other stuff. Its just different, do you not like change or something?
