If you want to serve the White community, the ones that actually spend money there instead of loitering and crapping on the floor, you will have to sacrifice some others.
If the Burmese cannot live with our way of life they need to go back to their country. The employee did what he thought was best for the store. Don't forget that spit and urine are considered bio hazards and pose a healt risk to all of us.
it was not just the employee fault, the Burmese person should have been more cautious and respectful to the environment. Again i believe that Burmese protesting against this is extremely inappropriate.
I heard the new of the Burmese protest in Fort Wayne downtown today, i believe that they are just trying to make a big deal out of nothing, i am a Burmese person, but i believe that what these Burmese are doing is extremely wrong. You have personally apologize and i believe that the Burmese community should already accept your apology.
The sign was inappropriate and the apology was well done. What I would like to know is why were there people urinating and spitting on the floor in the first place? I think that behavior is more alarming than the sign.
The sign was inappropriate and the public apology was well done. What I would like to know is why were there people urinating on the floor let alone spitting on the floor? And, was this behavior done by several individuals or just the same few? I think this behavior is more alarming than the sign that was posted.
Apologize acept it because we are peaceful people and we want to both party to slove face to face this problem. We also don't want that an employee who did it get fire.Instead of firing her or him, we want to slove all party together.Let give her or him a chance for living.
I suppose we should prepare for the inevitable posts from (likely white supremacist) bigoted, anti-immigrant idiots who can't spell, and think nothing of making sweeping generalizations of entire communities.
For the record, @mikerocock, it's "horrendous," and "Burmese," and proper nouns should be capitalized. You are allowed to use proper punctuation as well--assuming you even know how.
If you can't do those things, maybe you should be more circumspect in your criticism of others.
Way to go Jay! In my opinion this is an excellent response on your part. I have heard more in depth information regarding the situation the sign was posted in response to and must say I might have also acted without putting thought to the consequence. Some situations are just too much for a minimum wage employee to respond to with proper tact and according to the measure of the law. I hope that the situation can now be resolved in a professional manner.
