Guys...just so you know, this song is NOT about LSD. It's just a remarkable coincidence. One of the members' daughter came home with a picture she drew of her friend Lucy in the sky with diamonds, and they liked the sound of the phrase. It was only later that they realized the misleading acronym.

They did write songs about weed though, like Day Tripper and Got to get you into my life are about drugs.
