  • heehee. it'd funny watching this, because I live there, and yes, that legend/myth/ghost story is true.. but there are ghost stories like that all over town. lol

  • aaaaaa forgot the five fishermen haunted wannna now y used to be a funrel home for the halifax explosion victems

  • You talk about the pizza more then the window .. may as well call the video "My bad tasting pizza & a random window downtown" .........

  • I have seen it, and indeed it does look like the profile of a man. However, the window was never replaced, it was protected between two panes of glass to keep this interesting image. Nothing spooky about it, just a really cool bit of history to go with the church.

  • I've been in Halifax, and have seen the silhouette. His outline including frock can be plainly seen.

  • Man I was on that tour last night and the story I was told is that a sailor from one of the ships that had collided with the other ship carrying the explosives had a sailor on the deck and when the exosion happened his head was sent through the air and went through that window.. Now apparently they tried changing that window several times but the mans figure still comes back everytime, you can see it better in the day time.. I'm goin back today to go inside to what's up lol

  • why would u eat pizza that looks like vomit?? and i didnt see anything i dont know what you are talking about

  • Yea that definitly gotta be sum jesse's pizza past its expiry date

  • Hahah, as it turns out, the explosion never touched Barrington. They have now replaced the window. The sillouhete is gone.

  • walked by it today buddy. still there

  • They didn't replace it, and I'm pretty sure the explosion reached Barrington St.

  • @AFROMANFAN Have you been inside the church? There is a big piece of shrapnel still embedded in the wall inside the front door from the explosion.

  • @AFROMANFAN

It's gone now? I didn't know that. I swore I was there not too long ago and I thought I saw it. Well I was trying to force myself to see it anyways. haha. Well that sucks.

  • You can't even see the outline in the window in this video. The outline is pretty easy to see if you walk passed this church and is quite interesting (real or not). This video doesn't do it justice.

  • @Lylee666 ,

Er,coz Britain still has strong links with Canada, that's why there are so many places named after English town/cities! So,do you also have a problem with the many places in Quebec which have French twon names? Or do you just reserve your venom for us Brits?!

  • ANswer this , would you say a car that is 100 years old is better or 1000 years

  • Halifax here is better ha

  • theresalot of places in canada names after places in the UK like london ontario.

  • i like halifax explotion,it terrifys me though.

  • Hey dude. I was there September last year and I dont know if it means much but as I was taking a picture of that exact window my camera just turned off. Just dies with brand new batteries. Just for a sec. Something that had never happened or ever has since. I turned it back on and shot a few and when I looked at the photos later on they were blacked out just the 3 I took of the window. None Before None After.........Weird Huh??

  • I KNOW! the same thing happend to me but i didn't take a picture of the fugure i was standing inside the church buy the glass and my ipod, cellphone and carmera just died...that was spooky

  • been in halifax for six years a still never went to look at it .its on my list thou maybe this spring or summer i'll has a look .Can't see nothing on the video

  • i cant see in vid but ive seen in real life its creepy

  • You can see it if your there.

  • third top mam

  • I think I dont see anything

  • Little pizza? That's pretty huge for a "little lunch" dear.

  • that piece of pizza scared me more than the window.

  • Me too.

  • agreed.

  • that gay

  • Going through glass and walls doesnt happen as in cartoons- the perfect outline- just had to mention that for the 13 y/os that read this.

  • yEAH, you probably have the right one, where nearly the whole window is not frosted... and it looks like a profile.

They say the glass was replaced once, then the design was there and creeped people out,and again and it appeared again. Im wondering if maybe some little halifax bitches threw rocks at that one, it broke and that they replaced it with this profile for tourists.

  • @mneylu They didn't actually replace the window, they reinforced it with a second pane.

  • Are you sure that's the right window? I know I saw it there once... although it was way bigger than the size of a normal person's head, like at least 2 or 3 times. Either way, I deem this bullshit. Just as much bullshit as the "black window" on that B&B on Robie St.

  • Yeah I'm sure it's the right window. I went by the picture in the link in the side bar. There's only one where the top right pane is such a drastically different texture from the rest.

  • Well hrmmmmmmmm
