  • im surprised that guy didnt get sucked in

  • The mooing startup sound of the GE90-115B is just so awesome!

  • the typical GE 90 roar

  • The sound of the aircraft engine starting is more sexual than a woman having an orgasm.

  • MY FAVOURITE AIRCRAFT !!

  • awesome

  • seriously this plane has something that pulls me towards it, something that kinda makes me bretahless whenever i think abt it. its simply amazing!! T7 i love u.

  • @trupian88 You know what's pulling you towards it? Jet engines as big around as the fuselage of a 737, that's what!

  • is this in mexico?

  • @patryksienko Spain boy! If u look in the back ground u see a LX (Swiss) A320, no way you'll catch an LX A320 in Mexico.

  • I like the sound on 1:36 when I am always inside the plane. Sounds orgasmic.

  • Absolutely!! I love this Plane!!!........ And the sound when it takes off....

  • 777's,my favourite plane.

  • What I wouldn't give to see a giant with four of these engines.

  • Beautiful, just beautiful, one of the best creations of humanity

  • love 777-300ER!!!

  • itzz so fcking huge And .powerfull

  • Boeing rules.

  • es mucho avion

  • impressive!

  • @incheon, I know the -300Er has the GE90 engine. My remark is for the 777-300 and -200ER. Singapore operate both -300 and -300ER versions.

  • Have a subwoofer if you like to hear 777-300ER engine startup sound clearly.

  • wowowowoow!

    Amazing!!!!!

  • look at the friggin diameter of those engines !

  • wow, what a beautiful machine!!!

  • You've got that right almost brings a tear to my eye...

  • JET997u, SIA's B777-300 and theie B777-200ER's are all RR powered, pure British quality.

  • @ediandpen The only powerplant available for the 777-300ER is the GE90-115B.

  • usually Singapore uses Rolls Royce engines, they are too noisy becuase they are American.

  • duuuude come on. RR is british. who didnt know that?

  • SIA uses GE 90 engines, not Rolls Royce. GE is American, but RR is British.

  • love the 300ER, so huge!!

  • singapore airlines use RR power on all 777?s except this type the B777-300ER. Only powerplant available for this model is the GE90-115

  • does singapore use the GE90s or the PW powerplants?

  • Orgasm for the ears&eyes!

  • WOW !!! 5 stars !! Simply I crack up My Computer Volume , so it made me feel I was there !!!

  • I like those turbofans... its big....

  • Nice mooing sound (:

  • ★★★★★

The 777-300ER is my favorite. Must be a good airliner, if Air France is buying them.

  • yep one of the best... has 2 awesome engines 2xGE90-110/115B's

  • I flown with virgin atlantic on a A340 and with emirates to Australia on a B777. I prefer the boeing aircraft.

  • 1040kN vs. 1020kN

  • Awesome !!!!!

  • B777-300ER is just AWESOME !!

  • The monster is alive and well!

  • Love that vibration.

  • just damn right beautiful, the sound the look everything

  • that is one longass plane

  • A340-600 is even longer haha !!

  • but the 777-300ER is more powerful!!!! haahaha

  • Nope, the concorde is :D hehehe

  • The 777-300ER is powerful and carry a maximum of 550 passengers!!!!

  • But the legroom will be very small !!!!!!

  • haha yes by 5 feet

  • the A340-600 is only a meter longer than the 777-300er which is nothing.

  • Only a meter longer ?

    Are you sure about that

  • actually a meter and a half the 777-300ER's length is 74m and the a340-600's length is 75.30m.

  • Awesome !!

I didnt know the 777-300ER is that long !!!!!

  • beautifulll aircraft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love that sound! i remember when i was transiting in HKG you can really feel and hear those engines even from inside the airport

  • I always go to my country Pakistan, on the 777-300ER with PIA. The engines sound are cool and the vibration too

  • My god listen to that sound 1:36

A friend said me that when the 777's engine startup you can feel the vibration on the ground

  • Thats true, you can feel the vibration even inside the cabin, i like it when that happens.

  • Awesome video!

  • oh !! this was 9V-SWD i saw it that day in Singapore Changi Airport cause im from singapore and i see them all day long :D

  • I want that engine sucks me

  • omg!! the GE is as big as the fuselage!!

  • Its larger than an Embraer fuselage. And that's a fact :)

  • cool Sngapore Indians Airlines look so awesome.

  • lol its is not Singapore Indian Airlines. SIA- Singapore International airlines.

  • SIA is not Singapore International Airlines. It's just Singapore Airlines.

  • Techinally it does. What else would it stand for? Singapore idiot airlines? Obviously it stands for Singapore international airlines but we just call it Singaprore airlines!

  • zzzzzz..

  • The 777 is one plane that made me realise why we admire such machines, just like we admire and create the greatest sports cars, buildings..etc... They put across beauty, style, incredible power...all used for the best purpose...to bring people together. Hmm come to think of it, I think a philosopher once said that is the reason why human beings will always create something greater than themselves...cos is represents whats inside us waiting to be expressed. :) Peace to all of you x

  • wow those engines are huge!!! they are almost as big as the fuselage itself!

  • I love the front view of 777 equipped with the huge diameter GE90's!

  • that guy looks so tiny!

  • I'm sexually attracted to the 777

  • You have a competitor.

    <3

  • @pesti777 you're right...cute Iady!

  • @pesti777 lolz

  • @pesti777 and why? for which specific reasons?

  • @pesti777 You crazy, huh! You crazy, huh!

  • @pesti777 I fly the 777 and everyday that i fly, is like a match made in heaven. I have been rated on the 737 747 and 777. the best is the latter

  • @pesti777 I'm sexually attracted to the stewardesses on this airplane. :)

  • Love the triple 7's

  • What was the white smoke caused by?

  • just some exhaust from the startup

  • smoke comes when ignition applied for the first time during startup phase. before that a motor was reving up the highpressure compressor(whining noise) and then when correct rpm is reached fuel and ignition is applied together(white smoke and loud hum), eventually hum disapears as combusion chamber manged to hold the flame (warmedup), and sparkplugs stopped igniting. thereafter flame will stay in the chamber as long as the fuel is sprayed.

  • How does the whole combustion chamber ring ignite since there is only 2 igniter plugs. Also, what is the white smoke from is it unburned fuel? And why does the engine hum when the combuster is trying to hold the flame.

  • There is one igniter per engine. In modern gas turbines the combustion chamber is designed radially to make it as a single unit with many fuel injectors. But in some turbo props and shaft engines there are individual combusion chambers.

White smoke is burning fuel with rich mixture (and some water vapour).

The hum is of the frequency of ignition, the sparking frequency. When spark occures the whole ring fires with loud pop and dies cos temp not enough and spark again and pop, goes on n on

  • Is the combuster flame operate off of the heat generated from the compression of the air, or does it operate the same way a burner does in a grill or stove?

  • compression heat generation it self cannot ignite fuel, but it helps There must be a delicate balance between air speed though the combustin chamber, fuel spray velocity and air density to combustn to happen at the right place just before the turbines(which is a load). The chamber shape is designed in a way to fullfil all these, it is complex based on fluid dyn, aero dynmic math..(bear in mind e gas expnsion speed too).If the input air speed/volume is less aginst the load, engin backfire may occure

  • It seems That fuel is applied before ignitiion since of the unburnt fuel out the back of the engine. But basicly what you are saying is that the fuel spray along with ignition (Like a burner on a stove) is what burns the fuel. And the compressor is there to allow the engine to operate more efficienty due to expansion and keep the engine lit up at high altitudes, right?

  • Technically the smoke is due to burning of rich fuel mixture(with less air, due to slower compressur speed) and water vapur cools down quickly(due to low temp expansion) and condenses. There may be a tiny lag between start of fuel spray and ignition (controlled by EM computers), longer the lag louder the pop will be. as u said same principle as stove. yep, compressor helps to attain high volumetric efficiency(like turbo charger in cars)by pressurising and accelerating air molecules for bigbang

  • Ah I see. Thanks!

  • What a cool video. Hey I searched something on FADEC Controls and it said something in 2006 about bad software systems in the FADEC 3 which controls the GE90. they say it has problems with the software. Did they fix this already and are there any current problems with the B777 300 ER. A reply would be appretiated.

  • thanks

  • those things are loud. i was walking around hong kong airport waiting for my next flight and you can hear and feel those things from inside haha

  • The diameter of the entire GE90-115b is 138 inches (3,429 mm)which if you know your math, you would know 3,429mm is 3.4 meters.

Woohoo I figured it out :P

  • yr i sor dat. i jus wonderd if u know exacly how big.

    thanks anyway..

  • how wide and how tall is the engien in meters

  • i think i read somewhere it is the width of a737 fuselage

  • The engine is Bigger than a London double-decker bus!!

  • somehow i never really payed attention to that fact. lol

  • i may sound stupid but they start engines after pushback?

  • yup and i love the moo fat cow cow cow morning sound it makes =]

  • es fantastico

  • GE engines are more ferocious and loud than pratt's and rolls royce

  • There's nothing better than listening to the sound of thos GE90's starting up, I used to hear it everyday....wow

  • POWER!!!!!

  • Gportero, felicidades siempre tienes videos interesantes

  • The start up sound from 1:36 to about 1:54 booms very loudly in the cabin - quite startling really, like a huge coffee maker gone bad - and twice at it as the engines are started one afer another. Otherwise its a very quiet engine on take off and cruise - despite its size and power.

  • is like two boeing 737 hanging under the wing of that 777-300ER, those GE engines are enormous.

  • A GE90-115B's diameter is slightly smaller than the fuselage of a 737

  • hmm.. did u see the fire service at the back? there's seems to be a aircraft with it's emergency slide down..

  • I think its an airstairs. clickair I suppose

  • Top-Video

    Great Sound

  • thats is my favourite plane

  • thats is my favourite plane

  • I love the GE90-115B startup the power is amazing

  • WOW!!!!!
