  • This guy is an Israeli Jew a 100%

  • Western custom is handshake and it's very nasty considering that most of them (if not all) are not very good in personal hygiene. Imagine someone had gone to the bathroom and didn't wash his/her hands?

  • YOU CAN TELL THE GUY IS A JEW BIG TIME(BLUE SHIRT)

  • hahaha xD "if the sneakers are white, this is an american." omg lol

  • LMFAO

  • "The handshake are a very old European custom, it does not need a

    change or improvement" Andrew Renko.

  • its very stereotypical

  • As an American, this was actually rather amusing. ^_^

  • Hilarious, but true. Fortunately, we've mostly moved beyond the baggy jeans phase. Although, not everyone looks so great in the skinny jeans.

What's really funny about this video is the bro-hug at the end. It wasn't a real one. That's obviously because the American volunteer wasn't comfortable enough with the guy to actually give him one. LOL

  • I was expecting a better bro-hug than that. D:

  • this is suuuuper funnny! :)

  • makes sense lol

  • If anyone said stuff like that about French people, or Germans, that would be incredibly insensitive, and insulting, but for some reason its ok for a teacher to be making assumptions and stereotypes about Americans, I think that's very unprofessional. America is a rich culturally diverse country, and it shouldn't be ok for a teacher to go out and make ignorant comments about it.

  • @bryanlaiko

Duuuuuude chill i'd be willing to bet this isnt a real class, but instead of a meet and greet, get comfortable event for the international students.

And ps americans have been big enough dicks so its okay if we have to take a couple of potshots. Everyone knows were superior we just let them feel good about themselves :D

  • @bryanlaiko

    Couldn't agree more.

  • @bryanlaiko Hey people make assumptions about the French as arrogant cowards and the Germans as cold efficient Nazis all the time, neither bitch about it.

  • What this guys doing is so ignorant and assuming, he obviously knows little about American culture, and he should not be teaching a class these stupid stereotypical beliefs. I myself am from California, and I wear tight pants, I never wear button ups, I hate flip flops, and I always wear black shoes, style is based on personal taste, and thats diverse in America. In addition a fist bump is not a form of a handshake, its more like a high five, its meant to be a symbol of mutual understanding.

  • I find this offensive, and innacurate. First off, Americans have very diverse styles, some wear baggy pants, some wear tight ones, it all depends on their interests. And as for the fist bump, its not a form of greeting, its more like a high five, and if anything, the hug/handshake would be considered a secondary hand shake, its just more casual and friendly than the first type. So I think this guy should stop spreading stereotypes, and teach what he knows.

  • @bryanlaiko Geesh, chill it's obviously ment to be funny and not taken too seriously.

  • That seems like what a black person would do

  • I would have thought that's more like black Americans.. Oh well

  • insulting .. yet strangly funny XD i like it ;p

  • i have respect for american and know their culture is different in some ways but all this stupid YO YO and and stupid handshakes just really dumb. this video is offensive

  • @aizik1992 We are the best in the World, we don't care what you think lol.

  • @aizik1992

What's cool in your nation might be considered stupid by others.

  • that was great (and hilarious)! but it's important to be yourself, and it's important to expose Americans (or whoever) to your culture, because now that you are here, your culture is our culture. that can only happen if you are proud of where you come from and who you are. you are what makes me proud to be an American -- having you here, as you. Geez, I sound like an Army recruiter, lol! Blessings and joy from Atlanta, Georgia, -Tay

  • @ApocalyptiGirl ppl would be offended if they came over here to France.we kiss and hug aaall day.I am a southern raised and over here if you start working at 8h you show up at 7:30 to greet and kiss everyone you perceive as friend. If you don't kiss a chick she'll think you assume she stinks.I was totally surpsied how stiff other nations were.I had trouble adjusting everywhere else.

  • vary good

  • I like this, It shows you how people see our culture. I don't know why people were taking this the wrong way, the instructor was just showing the students how we greet one another so, like he said they don't go up kissing us haha which is awkward for me. but i mean thats their culture and the handshake is our culture. good video =]

  • cool and funny.......

  • racist just racist.....not all americans always want there personal place and itz okay to fist bump first..... wrong ur just awfully incorrect.

  • lol he should mix up the verbal greetings a bit. 'yo' lol

he forgot to mention that this is only applicable between dudes! you normally wouldn't greet a girl friend with those handshakes except for the first one of course

  • it's funny how he goes, "don't stand like this next to an american," and then the guy backs up hahaha

  • how to point out a trolling e-bully on Youtube. Just look at RayRay282828

  • @RedSushiNinja heard of a joke?? ass hurt much??? fag!!

  • @stephywephy11 Wow calling me a fag and you're sticking up for either some RANDOM guy or your guy friend. HMMMM.

Did you know that 95% of jokes are racist, sexist etc... just because something is a JOKE doesn't mean people can't take it offensive. FAG.

  • @RedSushiNinja wow anybody who read you comments will know that your a ignorant hypocrite troll hahahhahaha (how sad) b/c your the one bully this chick lol fagetass

  • @RayRay282828 You're spamming something that was 2 weeks ago.... who's the troll now? Grow a pair.

  • @RedSushiNinja hahahahahaha ok keep thinking that hahahaha ..... you totally contradicted your self

  • clearly not entirely accurate.. but accurate enough to pass in most situations.. which i think is actually what the instructor was shooting for..

    good job :P

  • ok get ready everybody, this is the Highest level of american affection. "yo"

    LOL

  • hahah wow that was hilarious "how to spot the american"

  • LOL

  • hahah! i like this!

    5/5

  • ALL from black people, the dress, the handshake, everything except the first hand shake. Hugs more common now due to blacks.

  • by all from black people u mean African Americans<<< -.-

  • no BITCH! BLACK people! I find it so ignorant to call them AFRICAN AMERICAN. I dont see chinese people being called CHINESE AMERICAN. BLACK is BLACK and WHITE is WHITE

    so dont correct!

  • so i guess u would call Chinese people YELLOW right? and native Americans RED. but what would u call native Australian, and dark skined indian people? b/c their skin is just as dark as Africans.

and since anthropologists dose not use a color call people and people's legal nationality is not classified as black, white, yellow, or any other color terms i guess you must be blind or deaf or lacking knowledge of the world. im assuming u r not stupid.. >_>

  • @junior939393 why she got to be a bitch. In a sense, they are giving credit to our people in america. a lot of the others look down on us, our own people but copy everything we do. what's up with that? Peace my african bruhman!!

  • yo, african american doesnt work either. africa is a continent. go tell someone from botswana that they are considered to of the exact same culture. it gets too ridiculous to add an "accurate" label. black works just fine. we're caucasians, unless we should be white americans or german americans, etc. -_-

  • @hanwenzero I mean black people.

  • @hanwenzero black people in america. how's that??!!! LOL.

  • @ddsharper

I have to say I agree with you. I don't see white/Asian American ppl do that.

  • It's kind of funny but it's not universal

  • You forgot the back pat to feel if they are wire taping you.

  • Im glad we dont hug or kiss each other...or walk around holding hands like the guys in the mideast do.

  • Well Dan Fishel is just another complete idot that assumes he knows everything about American culture, creating false sterotypes and using them will get you no where.

  • I thought a yoke is in an aircraft or holding two oxen together.

  • Don't forget that at a funeral or at some other kind of sad moment, you can hug, but you have to bump the other guy on the back with a fist. Otherwise it's just gay.

  • @dprevite ok good to know thx :)

  • @dprevite Even if you don't, it's not gay...

  • "Americans are the only people in the world I know who don't mind if you make fun of their culture."

    Um. Speechless.

  • That isn't entirely true, the hug part has the arm clutching aspect to it but the two guys make contact at the chest. It is basically a hug with the arms folded in between. The presentation was funny i have to say.

  • harrylook, then you don't know many people.

  • it's not a yoke. it's what you people do.

  • you people?

  • not only that, but this creates stereotypes and more problems than two people just being natural

  • is this a fukkin yoke?
