When I first watched this series I was shocked to find that it only contained 26 episodes. I was really hoping that Spike would live on to be the future syndicate boss or leave it all together, he would return with Jet and Faye. they would use the syndicate building as their new headquarters instead of roaming around space all day while still baggin up baddies.

I really wish this show was still being televised to this day!

The writers from that era need to come out of retirement, so they can help bring back the edge in animation. How did we go from pre 2003 C Bebop and Inuyasha to shows like Bleach and Ghost in a shell? -sucks

You're in luck. Sinichiro Watanabe (Director of Cowboy Bebop) and Yoko Kanno (Composer for Cowboy Bebop) are working on a new series, 'Sakamichi No Apollon'. It's not in the same vein as Cowboy Bebop from the looks of the first trailer, it seems more "Slice of Life", but it seems to be based around Jazz, which is enough to interest me! =P

I have a story planned out in my head, and the ending, the true ending to it all is influenced a lot by cowboy bebop. especially by the part at 14:00

I love this series, this, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hill. They have all impacted my way of writing and story telling.

Cowboy Bebop is not a never-ending story because it has artistic integrity. It's the finite story that makes it so satisfying. It does not get old and boring that way. Maybe one more movie wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't be disappointed without one.

I read online that Spike's outcome was supposed to be ambiguous. It didn't come across like that to me, but even if it did, what would be the point of presenting it that way? Why not just say or show whether he is really dead or not?

If you ask me though, he is with Julia now. They're finally free.
