I can't think of another singer whose voice/singing improved as much as Anka's did. Listen to this, then something he recorded a few years later and the difference is mind-blowing.

@Stunatra You noticed the difference too? Frank Sinatra's changed even more dramatically between 1948 and 1952 and then changed again later in life, and the same happened with Nat King Cole. Hard to explain but it does happen.

@Nocaro True, but Frank was a great singer at the start. A lot of Anka's early stuff was cringe-worthy.
