During a few spare moments at work, I did a Google search for my teen idol of long ago, Jack Wild. I was very shocked and saddened to discover that he had passed away. That was a couple days ago, and I have really felt a sense of loss since then. To work through it, I have been looking up everything I can find about his life and what happened to him. That is how I found this video. Thanks for posting it - it's very touching.

Wow Yulie4...what a fantastic video and audio tribute to Jack. You must be "staying wild". This coming from a child growing up in the 70's while watching H.R. on tv and listening to Jack Wild singles on AM radio...my fav being "Wait For Summer" which I purchased on a vinyl single at K-Mart for 49 cents.

This is an outstanding tribute. I was only 5 yrs. old when the last year of Pufnstuf ran. After that, it was all I could do to get my mom to buy every magazine for me that had Jack Wild's face on it. I was a young kid and he made my heart melt (little girl crush)...Have never fallen out of love with him since and this tribute brings tears to my eyes. Your choice for the song couldn't have been more perfect...I'm sure he would have been impressed. Rest in peace, "Jimmy"...
