Kinda shitty for the N9. A phone that was launched in 2010 still beats Nokia's newest flagship model.

@Padam91 I did not call the iPhone 'shitty' because it gets more points. BTW it's also beta hardware and software that is 3 months old now. There was already an update which improved the number.

@molbal as far as faster goes it's got a decent RAM to cache the UI but i saw a video on n9 and in that i saw some lags so idk about performance also I believe that the real performance test come when u start developing games for it..let's c when it comes out :)

@molbal well i really like iphone's UI cuz it's simple and elegant and also htc sense UI but I absolutly in love with the windows phone 7 metro UI..it's so simple and sexy at the same time..but each one has their own preferences in UIs and I respect that :D

@molbal giving free high quality apps is an awesome way attract customers but one the Market sets in those apps aren't gonna be for free anymore lol look what's happening to android market but I wish they make meego more customizable cuz the default theme is just sooooo gayyyyyy!!! lol and also they have to improve their way around different screen like multitasking page and menu page cuz it all looks very confusing but good to know open source is rising to the power :D

i really dont prefer meego at the moment cuz there is not much support for it and very few apps and absolutly no quality games...compare meego apps with ios apps and you'll see what phone you should get..now people will say meego is new and give it some time but what if i am looking to buy a new phone now..m not gonna wait meego to get better so for me its very obvious i should go for iphone but meego looks awesome in future

@vaibhav402 I completely agree with you. 250 developers/or developer companies are not too much. I'm also working on my second app for it. But I definietly make higher quality apps for MeeGo, than for Symbian and give all of them for free. (MeeGo won't let me have that much income, but a beautiful portfolio of apps).

This is why meego needs time in my opinion :)

Well it seems like the developer phone is better than the Iphone 4... And take in to account that it is only running the beta MeeGo OS. On the other hand apple is supposedly releasing Iphone 5 this year. What will the N9 be up against? WP7 seems like an good OS, but i just don't like the look or feel of it. It could grow on me. Never really liked Android. I am so going to get the N9. Don't care if none of the networks have it .

@Jabid21 Well, in my opinion, it provides a slicker experience. After using the N950, pressing hardware buttons (which is a must for WP7) is just an unneccessary effort. It was kinda slow to use my N8, or my mum's iPhone after the N950

@molbal Pressing hardware button isn't really an issue IMO. However, OEMs should give MeeGo (not 1.1 but something close to Harmattan) a second look. The OS is powerful as, if not, more than Android and WM, with a smooth and nice ux like WP7 and iOS (at least for N9). MeeGo is open source so OEMs shouldn't have a reason to not try out the OS and market it. HTC took the risk with Android (Dream/G1)

I like a lot what I see with Nokia N950 and i will definitely be buying Nokia N9 instead of iPhone when it comes out. MeeGo really looks fast and very nice and I like it how well made the hardware is. Too bad Nokia doesn't plan to sell N9 with hardware keybopard, that would be perfect.

@Bara365 - That's true :) In my opinion, that's not healthy if something is faster in everyting.

@zawette - It's just a development prototype, and does not even have a store yet. There are 250 featured developers who got this prototype to prepare the launch of the N9, which will be quite similar, but nicer screen, faster bluetooth, better casing, etc.
