they are going to ruin the lakefront, we already have a friggin rowing facility right on the lake around lincoln park. they are going to destroy monroe harbor to put in a "downtown rowing course." f that. let the olympics go elsewhere, we don't need it. what are we gonna do with all this shit after? nothing. it's stupid, chicago is one of americas best kept secrets, its smaller than new york but and LA but by far cleaner than both and we aren't overrun by illegals like the other major citys
The lakefront will not be ruined, it will be enhanced with better facilities and accessibility. Monroe Harbor will not be destroyed, but enlarged and improved. Boats will onl;y be displaced for a short time and be relocated of other harbors. We need the visibility and infastructure improvements. Some venues will stay while other dismanteled.
Don't start with that immigration crap. It has nothing to do with 2016.
Chicago is an amazing city!! I really think that the USA will celebrate on October 2!! CHICAGO 2016!!!
