Mining causes many strange things. A big lake in the US was drained in a few minutes because of a mining operation nearby. Some mining towns in the US have fires burning for generations under the ground, that cannot be put out. Mining also exposes many wonderful things. I've seen beautiful crystals from mines that are bigger than automobiles. I hope the air quality is still good. Looks like the snow is doing fine. Thanks for posting this.
