Miriam Hopkins was just marvelous in this film, as she had been in The Old Maid. Bette Davis said some ugly things about Miriam over the years, but always was very quick to say Miriam was one of the greatest actresses she ever play with in her acting career. Miriam Hopkins remained active in film, Radio, Broadway Stage, and much more successful here than Davis could have ever hoped for. Miriam was also quite successful in television, and the Outer Limits episode is considered its' best!
I love the 2 of them together.

Excellent film and good roles for both. Hard to tell they "hated" one another - looks like just good acting.
