Love this. Hadley was such a great Javert. He absolutely nailed this song in the performance I saw in October. ´Stars´ emerged to me as one of the top moments of the performance thanks to Hadley. I had never really loved this song until I heard him sing and perform it, it was magical. He´s amazing.

So good... Hadley just has this incredible, deep, strong voice that sounds like... an ocean. Norm is and will always be my favorite Javert (his voice sounds more like boulders, I think) but Hadley is just stinking fantastic.
Alfie and Colm Wilkinson are both great. I admire them both. I also admire Hadley--he's a great singer and I would never insult him.
I may like Ramin as the Phantom but you may disagree and say that Michael Crawford was the best. (And he is. Like Alfie and Colm, I can't decide.)
Or you may prefer Michael Ball as Marius while I prefer Nick Jonas as Marius. Or I may prefer Michael MacGuire as Enjolras over Ramin Karimloo as Enjolras.
If I *HAVE* ever offended anyone with my comment, my apologies. I'm sorry. I tried to say it as nicely as possible. Did I insult Hadley? No! I LOVE Hadley -- as Grantaire and as Raoul (I adored him in both roles). But not as Javert. That's all I meant to say. Besides, it all comes down to personal preferences and and opinions. I may be a fan of Philip Quast and Norm Lewis, but you're not.
Or I may like Alfie Boe as Valjean and you may like Colm Wilkinson as Valjean (I swear I can't decide).
@leedscab123 I think, it's a little bit silly (no offense) to call anyone the one and only true anything. Specially in theatre. Every actor brings something unique to the role and "one and only true" may be an individual thing for one person, but never in general.
@RaySingh87 I think he was the perfect Grantaire, my only complaint would be that it's not a very big part, which is why I prefer him as Javert. I'm probably biased since I love him haha <3 xx

@holliemollieinperil Pleasure! I was looking equally desperate months ago, the one I found here was so low, I couldn't hear much, even with earplugs. I think that was when I decided to buy a recording device and do it myself. ;-)
