  • this great

  • I love this

  • I know without a doubt that the Force is real and that I have Jedi blood flowing through my veins. Therefore it must be true.

  • dude why is there a girl using my name? I mean for her comments

  • Two polys and a white dude playing a song together...why is there a "mormons are racist" discussion even happening on this video?

  • @heyshea4 haha Thats what I am thinking!

  • i got back from a funeral and this song is helping me through it

but i just know she is in the celestial kingdom

  • If you are honestly trying to figure what we believe in I would read The Book of Mormon. That would answer a lot of your questions. I know this because I've read it cover to cover twice now and I know without a doubt that every word in that book is true. If you honestly are wondering then that is the place to go.;) thanks for asking btw I prefer people to ask instead of talk crap.

  • @afaulkn51 I wonder if they'd make it through 2 Nephi. Lol.

  • Just because someone is Mormon does not mean that they are racist My name is Kass I am LDS and one of my really good friends is African American. I LOVE that boy to pieces;) The Internet isn't really the safest place to look for our beliefs. There is a lot of stuff that is not true about us. We believe in the Bible(King James Version) and we also believe in the Book of Mormon.

  • @zangetsu116 first I want to say you have every right to be wonderin this. But there is one key thing that you must remember with all religions and people that you must keep the two of them separate. Just because someone is muslim does not mean that they are a terrorist.

  • this song has got me through alot when i was down, i have learned to play most of it and i love it. when everything is down in the dumps i just think of this and it changes my outlook on everything. thank you guys so much. i am LDS and proud.

  • My big sister left on her mission a few months ago. I miss her a lot but I'm happy to know she's doing the lords work. She's serving in the Las Vegas Nevada West mission. :)

  • They won't be single for long ;)

  • My Brother just left on a mission, miss too much, he has alredy read the book of mormon twice, when he wouldn't even read it once here, my cousins sung this for him for his mission farewell, He is in Virginia, Elder Tanoai, :') <3

  • Lol, sorry for misspelling I am on an iPad, correct:"find it hard to believe that you had someone new every week you lived there"

  • @elgmalone you lived in Mesa,AZ? That is where I was a missionary just recently, in fact I served around the area that the kid sitting in the middle of this video is from. I know his family and I know Mesa very very well. But I'll have to side with the other fellow about not being able to believe that you had someone know everywhere you lived there. Well, let me be more clear, I have a extremely hard time believing that it was "Mormon" missionaries. It just does not work like that, you are give

  • Love this song <3

  • Guys! if I'm right we have a common friend. I served with Leslie Jordan! Yeah. I was her mini. And we sang this song together after study time during making our hair and putting makeup on! Lol! Thanks for your talents. Cheered us up every single time. ; D

  • 16 people pressed the wrong button

  • I don't have a problem with what you believe. But why do you people think harassment is a way to convert people? I can even understand knocking on someone's door once and if they are receptive fine. But why don't you people understand "No thank you, I'm not interested?" To you that means, "Please come back next week." And you do. Week after week after week. I dealt with that for 3 years and you people banged on my door EVERY WEEK! Why why why? It was annoying as hell and all it did ...

  • @elgmalone ...was make me despise the Mormons.

  • @elgmalone Firstly, I don't believe you. Every week? That is a huge exaggeration. I served a mission and once somebody told me they weren't interested I tried to never talk to them again about it. Were you once a member and you are receiving contact because we have your name on our records? Either way, a simple no should get people to stop coming back. Your situation really surprises me. We don't use harassment and frankly I don't believe you. But just ask and we will leave. Your choice.

  • @mountainwalrus100 Look I had another conversation with another Mormon about this and we learned a little from each other. But yes, I can assure you that they did show up once a week, like clockwork. She explained that there are some areas called Mormonville or Mormon Bubbles and she asked if it was the same missionaries each week? It wasn't the same ones and I was living in Mesa, AZ which is the 2nd largest Mormon Community to Utah. After talking to this person, ...

  • @mountainwalrus100 ...I suspect the problem may have been that there simply were too many missionaries in that area. At any rate. I'm not exaggerating. They did come to the door every single Saturday like clockwork.

  • @elgmalone Heavenly Father might want you to be apart of his church. You must be a special person and have special people in your life who deserve to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • @wmarcus1203 I respect the fact that you think that, but I'm definitely not cut out to be a Mormon. First, off I'm an atheist. 2nd, my family is a mix of Judaism, Catholicism and Muslim. 3rd I'm mixed, so is my husband, and our child. I learned a little too much about what Mormons think about Blacks, Native Americans, Hispanics, and Arabs while I lived in AZ.

  • @elgmalone I am mormon. I am mexican/chinese/hawaiian. Most of my family is Catholic. And I have also lived in Arizona and experienced rascism wherever I go. The LDS church has nothing against mixed people. The lord accepts everyone as his children and if you have had bad experiences with some church members just know that we are not all like this. Just thought id say something:)

  • @dangerouslylegit13 Amen to that!! I'm mormon too! Just recently baptized in August <3 This church ain't got nothing on nobody. It has an open heart, and open doors

  • @elgmalone eh just what did u hear about us thinking about blacks we treat all equally, all rumors that are out of the church that are about us arent true. The only way to find out about what we do is to go to our church your self and see if what we teach is bad.

  • @Zangetsu116 I see... so when I lived in Mesa AZ (which is the 2nd largest community to Utah) and heard several Mormons would come up to my husband (my black husband) that he was "ok for a black guy" or "how he was different from most black people because he was decent" or others who would tell him "I have lots of friends who are black" that wasn't closet racism? Then what was it, exactly?

  • @elgmalone *(second largest Mormon community to Utah)

  • Comment removed

  • @elgmalone Wow thats crazy! Im mormon and I addddoooorre black guys :)

  • @Zangetsu116 There is a reason why one man is born black and with other disadvantages, while another is born white with great advantages. The reason is that we once had an estate before we came here, and were obedient; more or less, to the laws that were given us there. Those who were faithful in all things there [pre-existence] received greater blessings here, and those who were not faithful received less. . . . There were no neutrals in the war in Heaven. All took sides either with Christ or

  • @Zangetsu116 with Satan. Every man had his agency there, and men receive rewards here based upon their actions there, just as they will receive rewards hereafter for deeds done in the body. The Negro, evidently, is receiving the reward he merits (Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation, 1:61, 65-66; emphasis added).

This is straight out of your gospel. Would you care to expalin this?

  • @Zangetsu116 Those who were less valiant in pre-existence and who thereby had certain spiritual restrictions impose on them during mortality are known to us as the negroes. Such spirits are sent to earth through the lineage of Cain, the mark put upon him for his rebellion against God, and his murder of Able being a black skin. . . . Noah's son married Egyptus, a descendant of Cain, thus preserving the negro lineage through the flood. . . .

  • @Zangetsu116 the negro are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concern. . . . " (Mormon Doctrine, 527-28; 1966 orig. ed., changed in the current ed.; emphasis added).

I'm not sure why I have to quote this to you. I'm sure you've read this before. Right?

  • @Zangetsu116 ... (As a white woman married to a black man and mother to a black child, this is my absolute favorite)

Had I anything to do with the negro, I would confine them by strict law to their own species, and put them on a national equalization" (Joseph Fielding Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, 270; History of the Church, 5: 218; emphasis added).

  • @mountainwalrus100 ... I also want to say the person I spoke to is a very nice person and if you read this, again, I want to thank you for our conversation.

  • @elgmalone "To you that means, "Please come back next week." And you do. Week after week after week"

What is the connection with this song?

You should go to another site where you are confortable and makes you happy.

  • Awesome!!! :)

  • Cheehee braddahs keep jammin!

  • I wish I could dislike this mediocre garbage more than once.

  • This is really lame especially since I discovered that the church and religion in general is crap.

  • @luomio Sorry you're feeling so bummed out. Whatever you choose to do, there will always be people (like me) who believe the words of the prophets and remember our missions fondly. I find this song to be really touching and calming. Sorry you don't feel the same.

  • @luomio Then you obviously never really discovered the church.

  • @luomio It's not, but there's no reason to take anybody's word for it. If there is a God, it makes sense that He loves you and wants you to know about Him and His love. If there is a God, He wants you to be happy and to know the truth about him. So, if God really does exist he would provide a way for you to know. The way He provides is prayer. Say a prayer. Ask Him even if you are not sure if He exists. Then listen to your feelings. It will help if you seek out the truth by reading but also pray

  • @ozarkshrub Some of us who joined the church never had to quit anything. There are lots of good people out there who have nothing to 'give up', just much to gain.

  • @ozarkshrub Some of us who joined the church never had to quit anything. There are lots of good people out there who have nothing to 'give up', just much to gain. Please don't assume non-Mormon equals not good because that is NOT true.

  • i listen to this song everyday at work :)

  • wowwww they're good !! good vocals guys :)

  • LDS !

  • @rickgigliotti Ya, they specifically say that the verses are from those passages in the bible. The bible and Book of Mormon support each other. Get your facts straight bro.

  • @rickgigliotti bro, read the book of mormon properly and understand it properly, read the doctrine and covenants properly and understand it properly before you post up these. do this and you will know that there is no contradiction. i hate when people do this, when they try to come up with things wrong of our church(LDS) when they dont even know anything about our church or understand it properly.

  • @rickgigliotti first one, the second scripture makes no sense there is no similarity between those 2, neither the second one, third one, god has a spirit body. flesh and bone, but still immortal, for the fourth one, in speaking as the godhead, the holy ghost dwells in the heart, as does the light of christ, that dwells in everyone. im 13 and i know this.....

  • Very nice

  • @rickgigliotti nice. how about reading the book of mormon and deciding for yourself if it's plagiarism? The writers give credit to Isaiah and Malachi and Christ.
