Obama is bought and paid for by large corporations, for whom he is writing sweetheart deals. Money is flowing from America to China because there are too many burdensome regulations impairing the use of capital in the US. US has the second highest corporate taxes in the world, plus high property taxes, high income taxes, and high gas taxes, plus taxes on income earned overseas (where 97% of the population lives). What incentives are there to provide jobs in the US if we don't lower taxes?

America was capable of producing educated citizens until the federal government took control of the schools (not authorized in the Constitution) and made sweetheart deals with the teachers' unions (the most unaccountable, spoiled brats in the entire country).

I lived in California when REAGAN became governor and DESTROYED the greatest public higher education that the world has ever seen. He was supported by large corporations who wanted to benefit from the education that the PEOPLE paid but refused to AID in their support. SO what did that education system do for America? SIlicon Valley, Aerospace. technology research. It takes a generation for those benefits to be seen and pay off. Europe knows that, China and Japan know that, but Reagan...NO.

The Preamble to the Constitution says that the government is to "promote the general welfare", not to "provide the public's welfare". Big difference. The general welfare is best promoted by encouraging citizens to be self-reliant, productive entrepreneurs, not welfare-case parasites. If everyone expects the government to provide for them, where will the government get the funds to provide this? The government has no resources of its own; the govt cannot provide anything without taking it first.

The 2nd Amendment does NOT protect merely "gun owners." It is for EVERYONE. You may not choose to exercise this right, but it is yours--regardless of your race, creed, color, or culture.
You might as well say that freedom of the press is for the minority who own newspapers. But someday you may want to speak out on something and pass out a flier about it. Or write a blog. That makes it a right for EVERYONE.

There's no such passage!
The ONLY minority that is protected by the Constitution is the most pervasive one of all--the individual. All other minority rights are merely corollaries to individual rights. As long as individuals have these rights, and those individuals are allowed to peaceably assemble all other minority rights are derivative from that.

No, that is not the PURPOSE of the Constitution. In fact, the Constitution IS the basis for crafting our government.
They made it a living document so that it could be modified as needed to deal with future unknown contingencies. But the Constitution also requires that laws conform to the Constitution in order to protect the rights of individuals.
There are no such things as "group rights." Only individual rights.
