  • Stretching & strength training are the same thing if they're done properly. Merely stretching without resistance will have only very short-term effects in increasing flexibility, while full-range strength training will strengthen your newly extended range. Extended range of motion is leverage-disadvantaged, (weakest), not a position you want to spend much time in unless you're strong.

  • @lazur1 You are basing your opinions on high school or college kids and-or active sportsmen this video clearly states that professional people are the target audience. And when you sit in front of a computer or car wheel for upwards of 8h a day, doing strength training alone will never be enough. I agree, when you achieve some flexibility you use that for mobility or you loose it.

  • Let me know if you'd like to speak to a Rep from TechnoGym, its a great company.

  • This machine is a godsend. I do LOTS of high energy road cycling and spin classes. However, I see LOTS of hard core cyclists walking around with bad posture and restricted movement in their gait--all due to super tight/inflexible hamstrings. (Cyclists are notorious for this.) This machine made me significantly more flexible and more cycling has vastly improved. I call it "the Rack" since it can be a bit painful, but only a little bit.

  • cool invention..

  • Do these machines really exist, if so how new are they. And why don't gym owners make use of these machines. If people that exercise at the gym only knew the health benefits of stretching like I do more people would stretch.
