You should probably put your delay on an aux send, or an fx channel (for cubase) rather than as an insert. As a rule of thumb, all the things that effect dynamics, aka compressors and limiters go on your inserts, while modulation effects go on sends.

What interface are you using? Also, I noticed you only record your main vocals once, I like to record them 3 times and pan one right, one left, and keep one (the main vocal in the center.) My question is, should I use the same effects on every track?

@califreshest Pro Tools seems to be the standard in the US and Cubase more popular in Europe along with Logic. It's really a matter of your own choice. When a track is completed mixed and mastered no one will ever know what software it was recorded in but it's what you do with the software. I have used Logic, Sonar and Cubase helping friends out (and learning myself of course) but my personal choice is Cubase (6).

Get what you feel is right for you and go make some good music!
